Many students are interested in English now.3.Teaching aids and teaching methods: Multi-media; tapeSituational language teaching methodTask-bases language teaching method4.Teaching stepsStep 1:Lead inFirst Ill play a video that the students in our class are preparing for the New Years Party and tell students “If I go to the party, Ill take part in a fashion show.”Ask them “If you go to the party,what will you do?/Who will you go with?/How will you go?/If you dont go to the party,what will you do?”(1. The video will raise the learning interest of students and lead students into an English situation.2.The questions will make students know the key drill of this lesson.)Then Ill lead students to describle the four pictures in a with “The Simple Future Tense.”(It will improve students speaking skill. Students will know the tense of the main clause in the complex.)Step 2: ListeningFirst,listen to the tape and finish 1b.( 1.Listening to the tape will help students learn the standard English . 2. It will improve their listening and speaking skills .3. Students will know a little about the clause “IF” by listening. )Then,watch the video of 1b and write down all the verbs :The teachers _ let you in if you _ jeans to the party.
