新目标英语八年级下册教案设计Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?Period One(Section A 1a -1c)白莲中学 授课老师:庞梅花一、教学目标1、知识与技能(1)学习下列单词或词组:rainstorm, waitfor, atthetimeof(2)能使用下列句式进行交际:_hat were you doing atthetimeoftherainstorm? /when the rainstorm came?_ I was _where were you at the time of the rainstorm?_I was at home._Whatwas he/shedoingatthetimeoftherainstorm? /when the rainstorm came?_He/Shewas()理解过去进行时的概念及过去进行时态的构“be(was/were)+v.ing”。( 4 ) 能正确运用过去进行时态谈论过去人物正在进行的活动; 能听懂有关过去进行时的录音对话并完成相应的听力任务。2、过程与方法 采用多媒体课件呈现暴风雨中各种场所人们正在进行的活动,让学生感爱和学习语言,刺激各种视觉、感官。创设真实环境下使用语言,以“任务”为驱动,采用师生对话、学生俩俩对话、小组活动的学习方式,让学生参与、体验,在完成任务的同时达到综合运用语言的能力。3、情感态度与价值观通过了解暴风雨中人们做的事情,培养学生在困境中坚强、互助的品质。二、教学重难点重点能正确用过去进行时描述过去某一时刻人们正在进行的活动。难点 熟悉常与过去进行时连用的时间状语at the time of. At 7 oclock last night, when 引导的时间状语从句等。三、教学准备 多媒体课件、黑板、粉笔等。四、教学过 程;Step 1 Greeting and warm up :Nice to meet you! Hows the weather today? What do you usually do after school in the afternoon? Ss: (预热前面学习过的日常课外活动的短语,为下一步谈论昨天下午6点时你整在做什么做铺垫。)Step 2 Leading in Ask: What are you doing now?Ss:We are having an English class.接着教师又问不同的学生,重温现在进行时的运用。然后教师话锋一转问:Do you know what I was doing at 6 oclock yesterday afternoon? 教师边展示图片边说:I was running at that time.接着引入新句型的学习。Step 3 Presentation (1)教师引导学生询问昨天下午6点钟你在做什么并帮助学生回答.问:What were you doing at 6 oclock yesterday afternoon? ?答:Ss: I was playing basketball./reading a book.(2)师生互动 教师询问不同的学生和给出不同的答案。(3)学生两两问答Step 4 Practice(1) 让学生观看暴风雨图片学习rainstorm(2) 教师解说:There was a heavy rainstorm in Guangdong yesterday. Lets look at the pictures and find out“Where were the people?What were they doing?” 教师通过边观看图片边问学生,引导学生用过去进行时态做问答。T: Where were /wasat this time of the rainstorm ? Ss:T: What was the boy/girl doing at this time of the rainstorm?Ss:He/She was (2)Pairwork 让学生边观看图片边进行俩俩对话。A: What was doing when the rainstorm came ?B: He/She was过去进行时:表示过去某一时刻或某一时间正在进行的动作。由“was/were +v.ing”构成。(3) 1a.Look and say, then match the statements with the pictures.Step 5 Listening 1bRead the instructions to students.Make sure they understand what they listen for. Listen to the recording and answer the questionHow many persons are interviewed by the reporter? Listen and circle the correct response Lead the students to read the listening materias. Ask some to read it out.Step 5 Groupwork教师把全班分为若干小组,4-6人为一小组谈论昨天中午1点正在做的事情,并填写表格.运用到的语言结构:A:What were you doing at 8 oclock last night?B:I was MaryLiuYingZhangHanming8oclocklastninghtdoingherhomeworkreadingabookstudyingmath9oclocklastnightwatchingTVtalkingwithhermomwalkinghome请各小组派代表汇报小组结果Report: Mary was doing her homework at 8oclock las night.LiuYing was studying for a test .Zhang Hanming was studying math.Step 7 Summary过去进行时基本用法:1.表示过去某一段时间或某一时刻正在进行的动作。2.构成:“(be)was/were+ v.ing(现在分词)”3.常与之连用的时间状语有: atthattime/moment, (at)thistimeyesterday(lastnight/Sunday/week.),at+点钟+yesterday(lastnight/Sunday.),when主语didsth.时间状语从句Step8 Homework1.Read 1b after class .2.
