Present the sample sentences in the Grammar Focus and let students to observe the sentence structures, and find out the differences between the simple past tense and present perfect tense. (3)Have you ever played football? Yes, I did when I was little, but I havent played for a while now.2. Ask students to think the usage of “for” and “since” in the present perfect tense.
