北师大高中英语Module7教学案例 Unit 20 Lesson1 The World Online 一教材及教学对象分析1. 教材内容:本案例选取的是高中英语模块七Unit20 The World Online主要讲述的是网络对我们的生活造成的影响。通过对这部分内容的学习,学生可以扩大知识面,了解更多关于网络运用方面的内容,也能锻炼他们的阅读能力以及综合运用所学知识,参与讨论问题并解决问题的能力。2. 教学对象分析:高二学生经过一年多的高中英语学习,已经具有一定的英语语言功底,部分学生能够较为自如地表达自己对一些事物的观点;另一部分学生在掌握了一些关键词汇的基础上也能就一定话题发表自己独到的看法,学生之间的合作学习也有了很好的发展。二教学设计.Teaching aims(教学目标).1. To discuss the positive and negative things 2.To gain some knowledge about Internet use, practice their reading skills and improve their overall ability by participating in the activities.3. To put the skill in read strategies into practice. Teaching important and difficult points(教学重点难点).1. How to encourage them to fully participate in the discussion.2. How to help them apply what they have learned to the use. Teaching aids. Multi-media, blackboard. Teaching procedures.(教学步骤) Step One: Brainstorming. (This step aims at arousing students interest and preparing them for the topic, at the same time improving their listening and speaking ability, and also letting them form the habit of thinking in English.)Step Two: Lead-in.T: Do you like to use the Internet? What do you usually use it for? How do you search for the information you want? Can you always find the information you want? Do you chat on the internet often? What do people often talk about in a chat room on the Internet? What do you think of making friends online?Step Three: Reading comprehension.(This step is to put the reading strategy into practice) T: Ask students to go through the two speeches as quickly as possible and try to find answers to the three questions in Part A. Remember only focus on and identify the information needed to answer the questions.T: How well did you understand the arguments made by the speakers? Read the facts below and write down the argument each fact supports.Step Four: Post reading.(Debate)T: Ask students to role-play the debate. In order to have more students participate in the activity, you can divide students into groups of four. Two members in each group represent Zhu Zhenfei and the other two represent Lin Lei. Each student reads one point in the debate. If possible, encourage more able students to make some changes or add their own opinions to the debate. Ask them to make the written speeches into an oral debate. Then ask several groups to present their debates to the class. Hold a competition between the groups. The one with the best debating skills wins.Step Five: Homework.1. Ask students to focus on Part E. It is an e-mail written by a university student to his mother, which aims to consolidate the knowledge the students learned in the passage.2. Do Parts A1 and A2 on Page 118 of the Workbook, so they can be more familiar with the usages of some important words and phrases learnt in this section. 三. 教学反思.在新课程背景下,学生的角色发生了根本的变化,应由原来的被动听讲, 死记硬背变为主动参与; 自主学习;通过小组讨论、分工合作、调查采访、信息检索、交流汇报等形式的活动,用英语去做事,最后呈现学习成果,创造性地完成学习任务,培养综合运用语言的能力。英语教学要贴近实际。本课的内容The effects of the Internet on our lives所涉及的内容网络对我们的生活造成的影响正是目前学生很关注的话题。在设计教学活动的时候,设计了辩论(debate)这样一个活动,给了学生充分的空间去发表自己的观点。由于有了课文内容的基础铺垫,学生在发表各
