Make yourself tall.Big, big, big! Make your eyes big.Preview: Show some pictures of animals and people .Let the students say about the pictures, reviewing the learned words: He is my father. Hes strong. Its a monkey. It has a long tail. Its funny. She is my aunt. Shes pretty. Presentation:1. Show the picture of “lets start” and introduce the new teachers in the picture:“Rabbit has many new teachers in her school. Do you have new teachers? ”Ask the students to say out their new teachers.2. Show the picture of “lets learn”.Use the sentences “Who is your art () teacher? Whats he like?” to lead the studentsto describe them. And in the meanwhile present the words : young, kind, old, funny3. Listen and read the words. 4. Insert a chant: (Show the pictures as chanting )Young, young, young, our math teacher is young, very young.Funny, funny, funny, our art teacher is funny, very funny. Kind, kind, kind, our English teacher is kind, very kind. 5. To do pair work:Hold the pictures, ask and answer each other, using the questions:Who is he (she)? Whats he (she) like? (The teacher may lead the way first.)6. Group work:To do “Lets find out”.7. To learn the song: My new teacher.Consolidation:1. To do the listening work “ALets learn” in the activity book.2. One of them say out the first letter of the words, the others spell the words in turn. Presentation:1. Teacher leading in: Boys and girls, we have some new teachers this term. Do you know? How many new teachers are there? Who are they? What are they like? ( some of the students answer)2. Have a discussion in groups, looking at the pictures drawn by themselves.1.
