圆梦教育培训学校专项资料 招生热线：2997800状语从句知识点（7月27日）状语从句在复合句中作状语，修饰动词、形容词或副词等。状语从句可以表示时间、条件、原因、地点、目的、结果、让步、方式、比较等意义。一时间状语从句：常用引导词：when, as, while, as soon as, before, after, since , till, until 1.当主句是一般将来时态或祈使句表示将来的意义时，时间状语从句用一般现在时。I will ring you up as soon as I get to Beijing.As long as I am alive, I will go on studying. 2. when, while, as引导的时间状语从句（1）when既可以指时间点,与瞬间动词连用，也可以指时间段，与延续性动词连用（=while）When he came in, his mother was cooking.People often remember what they were doing when they heard the news of important events in history.When (While) we were at school, we went to the library every day.（2）While表示时间段,因此，while 从句的谓语动词要用延续性动词。如：Please dont talk so loud while others are working.（3）As与when用法相似，但着重强调主句动作与从句动作同时发生，有随着或一边一边之意。如：As you get older, you get more knowledge.随着年龄的增长，你获得的知识就越多。3.until/till引导的时间状语从句(1)主句的谓语动词是延续性动词时，主句用肯定形式，表示这一动作或状态一直延续到until/till所表示的时间为止。I will wait for you until/till you come to see me.(2)主句的谓语动词是延续性动词时，用否定形式表示主句的动作指导until所发生的时间才发生。构成句式notuntil,有时不用not,而用其他，如never,nothing等表否定的词I didnt go to bed until I finished my homework.(3)since 引导的时间状语从句，表示“自以来”，主句用一般现在时或现在完成时，从句用一般过去时，结构为：It has been+since 从句/It is+since从句。It is ten years since I began to study English.二条件状语从句：(1)主句为祈使句，一般将来时或含有情态动词时，条件状语从句用一般现在时I will visit the Great Wall if it doesnt rain tomorrow.(2) “祈使句+and/or引导的结果状语从句”中，祈使句在意义上相当于一个条件状语从句Use your head, and you will find a way.三原因状语从句 (1)原因状语从句通常用because, since和as 引导。这三个词所表示的语气由because到as逐渐减弱，由why提出的问题用because回答。Because用于表示直接原因,回答why提出的问题，语气最强；As用于说明原因, 着重点在主句，常译成由于；since表示显然的或已知的理由或事实，常译成既然。如：Water is very important because we cant live without it.He didnt come yesterday as his mother was ill.Ill do it for you since you are busy.Why do you like physics?Because it is interesting.Since we live near the sea, we enjoy nice weather.(2)如果状语从句所表示的原因是人们已经知道的事实，就要用since,而不用as或because. since在这里意为“既然”。Since you cant answer the question, you can ask someone for help.四目的状语从句(1)引导目的状语从句的词组有：so that, so, in order that等，从句谓语中含有may,might.can.could.will.would等情态动词。He must get up early so that he can do some exercise.Finish this so that you can start another.(2)当从句主语和主句主语一致时，可用so as to, in order to.He worked day and night in order that he could succeed.= He worked day and night in order to succeed.五结果状语从句(1)由sothat, suchthat引导。Sothat与suchthat的区别：So+形容词或副词+thatSo+形容词+ a/an +名词单数+thatSuch + a/an (+形容词)+名词单数+thatSuch( +形容词) +名词复数/不可数名词+that注：在形容词+可数名词复数/不可数名词结构中，当名词前有many, much, few, little表示数量的多少时，名词前用so。如：He was so angry that he couldnt say a wordShe is such a lovely girl that we love her very much=She is so lovely a girl that we love her very muchWe have so much time that we can finish the work very well.(2) Sothat句型的否定形式用简单句tooto或notenough to代替He is so young that he cant go to school=He is too young to go to school=He is not old enough to go to schoolThis was such a good film that I went to see it several times.It was such good books that they sell well.It was such bad weather that I had to stay at home.He spoke so fast that I couldnt follow him.He is such a lovely boy that we all like him.=He is so lovely a boy that we all like him.六让步状语从句用从属连词though, although引导。注意：though/although与but在句中不能同时出现We had to go on walking though we were very tiredAlthough I dont have much money, I live a happy life.Though he is in poor health, he works hard选择合适的连接词，完成下列句子。1.Jim spends a lot of money on books_he is not rich.2.Kate fell into sleep _she was listening to the music.3.-Is David at school today? -No. He is at home _he has a bad cold.4.We wont have supper _my mother comes back.5.Speak to him slowly _he may understand you better.6. _ she doesnt come on Sunday, Ill go fishing by myself.7.It is four years _I had left that small village.8. _the air moves, it is called wind.9.We will go to the park _it doesnt rain tomorrow.10._little boys did _much work.11.There are few new words in the passage _we cant understand it.12.Go back _you come from.13.He reached the station _the train had left.14.-Do you have a swimming pool? -No, we dont.
