Point and sayTeaching Aims: Asking and answering the questions about the things that can been seenMain Points: The new words and patterns a clown a flower a slide grass a swimming pool.Difficult Points: The pronunciation of the new wordsTeaching Aids: a tape recorder, picture cards , objects , words cardsTeaching Steps: A. Organization: 1. Sing an English song 2. Have a free talk B. Revision: 1. Show the cards to the class and ask the pupils to read and spell the words. 2. Make dialogues. C. Presentation: 1. Show any of the topic vocabulary objects in the brochure. Point to any of the named things I can see from the classroom window. Such as trees, grass and flowers. 2. Teach the concept of the uncountable nouns by drawing lost of blades of grass labeling it grass. 3. Show Transparency and pla3 the Pupils Book Cassette. Point to the speech bubbles when the characters speak. Continue to play the cassette and ask the pupils after the beeps. Do the same to with the vocabulary items. D. Consolidation: 1. Show Transparency. Point to the objects on the page and practice saying the new words. 2. Read the childrens speech bubbles. Get the pupils to point to the correct objects. 3. Make sentences using I can see., for the other objects Get the pupils point to the correct objects. 4. Point to the object. Tell the pupils to make a sentence using I can see. and the name of the objects with the correct indefinite articles or without an article. 5. Play a game. E. Summing up 1. Encourage the pupils to ask some puzzled problems about the lesson 2. Ask the class to read the section one once aloud F. Organization: 1. Sing an English song 2. Have a free talkB. Revision: 1. Show the cards to the class and ask the pupils to read and spell. 2. Encourage some pupils to read the sections A-BC. Presentation: 1. Point to the characters in the pictures and read their speech bubbles aloud .Ask the pupils to point to the speech bubbles as you read them. 2. Play the Pupils Book Cassette for the pupils and ask them to say the sentences after thc cassette. 3. Ensure the pupils know that the older mouse cannot see. 4. Ask three pupils to come up and play the roles of the two mice and the cat. 5. I may use story cards to revise sequence and language of the story.D. Consolidation: 1. Free talk 2. Read English rhymes.B. Revision: 1. Show the cards to the class and ask the pupils to read and spell the words 2. Encourage some pupils to role-play section AC. Presentation: 1. Ask the pupils to read the story again. Read the sentences under the pictures with pupils 2. Demonstrate how to write the correct numbers in the boxes next to the pictures. Cheek answering using Transparency 3. Play the tape twice and then let pupils sing songs after the tape.D. Consolidation: 1. Ask the pupils to look at the pictures and listen to the workbook Cassette. 2. Tell the pupils to write the correct letters in the boxes according to the language they hear on the cassette.E. Presentation: 1. Play the Pupils Book Cassette and ask the pupils to listen to the sound and the words .Point out the spelling of this sound and the silent on the end Of cute and tune 2. Say the words slowly and clearly. Check that the pupils are saying the sound correctly. D. Consolidation: 1. Point to the pictures and check that the pupils can say the words without our model 2. Play the Pupils Book Cassette again. Ask the pupils to listen to the poem and to point to June. Get the pupils to say the rhyme. 3. Play a game.
