As part of our ongoing product development activities, we are seeking a few Senior DSP Software Engineers who will be involved in the design and implementation of the DSP software for our next generation digital video recorder products. The candidates will work on the real-time implementation and optimization of various video compression and audio compression algorithms. The implementation will be based on Texas Instruments latest VLIW based DSP processors and will require coding at both the fixed-point C code level and assembly level. The candidates will also optimize the DSP code to minimize processor load and memory usage. System integration and DSP driver development may also be required for certain projects. Requirements: MS in EE or equivalent required. Ph.D. in EE or equivalent preferred. Must have at least 5 years of experience in developing DSP software using commercially available fixed point programmable DSP with assembly code. Must have at least 2 years of experience with TIs fixed-point and VLIW based DSPs. Must have in depth knowledge of programmable DSP architectures and drivers development.
