Unit 1 Me and my classLesson 2 My faces, one picture 教材分析本节课是第一单元的第二课时,主要涉及介绍照片的内容。在授课之前先让学生准备一些自己喜欢的照片。课上可让学生通过小组合作的形式相互交流, 在此基础上, 教师向学生展示几张班级的照片, 同时告诉学生们如何用英语介绍这些照片, 让学生了解如何表示喜欢和赞成。 教学目标【知识与能力目标】记忆单词advise, agree, glue短语adviseto do, be up to, agree with。【过程与方法目标】Reading and speaking【情感态度价值观目标】学习表达喜好。 教学重难点【教学重点】通过听读课文,完成课后练习,达到掌握本课重点内容的目标。【教学难点】掌握单词advise, agree, glue短语look like, advise sb. to do sth., be up to, agree with。put on, wear和in的用法区别。 课前准备图片,PPT 教学过程Step . Lead in Leading in 【情景1】Good morning/afternoon, everyone. Welcome to our second day of school. How are you today? Who can tell me what the date is today?Danny and Li Ming talked about their first day of school in the last lesson. Danny had two new classmates Mary and Sandra. Li Ming would prepare a picture of himself for the class picture. What picture would Li Ming choose? Lets see.设计意图用复习的形式导入新课,既复习了上节课的内容,又设置了疑问,学生可以带着这个问题学习新课,找到答案。Leading in 【情景2】(Take out a banana, a book and a red blouse.)T: Look, this is my red blouse. Ive told you I like red very much. And the book was my birthday present last year. Yes, this is a banana. I often buy bananas because I like eating bananas. Can anyone guess why I have brought these things? What is the connection between these things? Please guess.Ss: You like all of them!T: Very good! These are the things I like best. Introduce the questions to the Ss and give them five minutes to discuss.设计意图经过讨论,学生能更好地理解课文中对话的意思。Step . ListeningPlay the audiotape for Lesson 2(Many Faces, One Picture). Play it once and ask the students just to listen. Play the audiotape a second time and ask the students to complete Exercise 1.设计意图 放录音,让学生完成练习一,并核对答案。Step . Reading1. Teach the new words: perform, advise, agree and glue.2. Ask the students to read the text by themselves, and find out the new phrases (advise sb.to do sth., be up to, agree with).3. Explain the new phrases, and then ask someone to make sentences.教材解读1. You are wearing a red jacket and you are planting trees.【辨析】wear, put on, dresswear意为“穿着”,表示穿的状态;put on意为“穿上”,表示穿的动作,是非延续性动词短语;dress意为“穿”,常用短语dress sb./oneself意为“为某人/自己穿衣”。2. He advised me to choose that one. advise sb.to do sth. 意为“建议某人做某事”。My mother advised me to work hard.我妈妈建议我努力学习。 one 在此是代词, 用来代替上文提到的事物, 以避免重复。当one被定语修饰且表示泛指时, 修饰语前面应加不定冠词a或an; 当one或ones被定语修饰并表示特指时, 修饰词前加定冠词the; one前还可以加this或that。This ruler is too short. Do you have a long one? 这把尺子太短了。你有长的吗?These new books are different from the old ones. 这些新书不同于那些旧书。This book is easy, but that one is not easy. 这本书容易, 但那本书不简单。3. I like the colour in the first picture, but its up to you.be up to sb. 意为“由某人来决定”。Its up to you. 它取决于你。4. I agree with you.agree with意为“同意,赞成”, 后面常接表示人或意见(看法)的名词或代词作宾语。I quite agree with you. 我很同意你的意见。设计意图 通过阅读, 培养学生的自主学习能力, 可以和小组成员讨论较难理解的句子和知识点。Step . Make a class pictureMake sure the students understand what they must do in the project.T: Draw a picture of yourself if you dont have a photo. Write down at least three sentences about yourself on a small piece of paper. Thats your name card.(After a few minutes, ask several students a few questions to help them describe themselves.)1. What is your name?2. How old are you?3. How tall are you?4. What are you wearing in your picture or photograph?5. What do you like to do?6. Where do you live?T: First, work in pairs please! Ask your deskmate questions about him or her. Then ask similar questions about other members in your group.(Let the Ss find their own partners to practice this. Use the sentences in their cards. Encourage the Ss to read what they have written down.)T: Now, its time for you to introduce your partners to your class. Now, introduce your classmates, please.(After the Ss introductions, ask them to glue the pictures to a big piece of paper for the whole class.
