Module 3 Music教学设计本模块编写: 绵阳普明中学刘宗华教材分析 本模块以“Music”为话题。学生通过本模块的学习可以了解古今中外的音乐家,提高他们的音乐欣赏水平,培养他们对音乐的评价和鉴赏能力,从而丰富学生的音乐知识,提高学生的艺术修养。 Introduction部分通过设计的两个活动让学生复习和学习一些常见的乐器的名称,激发学生学习本模块的兴趣。 Reading and Vocabulary该部分向同学们介绍了音乐家海顿、莫扎特和贝多芬以及他们的伟大成就。让同学们在阅读的过程中了解音乐家的奋斗历程,树立正确的人生观和价值观。通过相关的活动,训练学生的综合语言能力。 Grammar 1学习并巩固时间状语从句。 Writing要求学生阅读一封外国朋友的电子邮件,并根据问题写一封回信。 Function通过回答问题和完成句子让学生懂得如何表达喜好和厌恶,从而初步培养学生的鉴赏能力。 Listening and Vocabulary首先通过听力活动帮助学生了解和学习有关英国乐队The Beatles的背景知识,接着让学生学习新的词汇。在训练学生听力的同时考查学生的理解能力。 Grammar 2复习过去完成时态。通过练习帮助学生巩固过去完成时态的基本用法。 Pronunciation学会如何在日常交际中使用升调和降调。 Everyday English要求学生掌握表达喜好的一些用语和有关音乐的日常用语。 Cultural Corner学习一篇有关著名作曲家叶小刚的文章,了解他的音乐经历和音乐成就,增强学生的民族自豪感。 Task训练学生仿写一篇介绍著名音乐家生平和作品的文章。Module File对整个模块的学习内容进行归纳总结,有助于学生对所学知识进行复习和巩固。教学重点和难点1.教学重点 (1) 本模块的生词和短语。 (2) 弄清楚时间状语从句和过去完成时态的用法。 (3) 谈论有关音乐的话题。2.教学难点 (1) 学会表达对音乐的喜好。 (2) 学习时间状语从句和过去完成时态。 (3) 学写有关自己音乐爱好的文章。教学计划 本模块分五个课时: 第一课时: Introduction, Function, Everyday English 第二课时: Reading and Vocabulary 第三课时: Cultural Corner, Grammar 1, Grammar 2 第四课时: Listening and Vocabulary, Pronunciation 第五课时: Writing, Task, Module file教学过程 Period 1 Introduction, Function, Everyday EnglishTeaching Goals: 1. When she finished her homework, she went to the supermarket with her friend. b. When he got to the station, the train had already left. c. When I lived in the countryside, I used to carry some water for him.注意: 主句为将来时的时间状语从句,常用when来引导,时间状语从句用现在时表示将来时。如: When the president comes here for a visit next month, Ill give the welcome speech.2). while只能表示持续性的动作或状态,不能表示暂时性或短暂性的动作。所以while往往与延续性动词连用,不与瞬间动词连用,且谓语动作通常与主句的谓语动作同时发生。如: a. While Im running, Im thinking about all sorts of things about my future. b. While my mom was cooking in the kitchen, I was watching the latest movie in my room.3). as表示“随着;一边,一边”。当主句、从句动作同时进行,从句动作的时间概念淡化,而主要表示主句动作发生的背景或条件时,只能用 as。as所表示的动作具有延续的含义,一般同延续性动词连用,通常是和主句的谓语动作同时发生,不可以在主句的谓语动词的之前或者之后。如: As he grew older, he began to go deaf.4). when, while与as可通用的情况when, while与as都表示主、从句的动作或状态同时发生,当从句中的谓语动词为持续性动词时,这三者可以互相通用。如: When / While / As the teacher was discussing the topic with us, the headmaster came in.2. after, before与by引导的时间状语从句1). after所引导的从句通常发生在主句的动作之前,如果主句用过去时,那么从句的句子动作就要用过去完成时,以便体现动作发生的先后。 before引导的从句的动作通常发生在主句动作之后,如果从句是过去时,主句一般要用过去完成时。如: a. After we had finished the work, we went home.b. Thousands of teenagers had already got there before the superstar arrived.2). “by +时间名词”意思是“到时为止,在时之前”。例如, by the time引导的时间状语从句的谓语动词如果用一般过去时,主句的谓语动词用过去完成时; by the time引导的时间状语从句的谓语动词如果用一般现在时,主句的谓语动词用将来完成时。例如: a. By the time you came back, I had finished this book.b. By the time you come here tomorrow, I will have finished this work.3. PracticeA. By the end of last month, we had learned twelve English songs.2. 过去完成时表示在过去某一时间之前已经开始并一直持续到那时的动作或状态。如: We hadnt seen each other since I left my hometown.注意: 1). 过去完成时由“助动词had + 过去分词”构成。过去完成时常与by, for, before, since等介词短语或由after, before, since, when, by the time等引导的时间状语从句连用。如: a. By the end of last year, we had learned seven hundred English words.b. They hadnt finished their work when I arrived at the office.2). 过去完成时表示动作发生在“过去的过去”;而一般过去时只表示动作发生在过去。例如: a. By the late 1960s, their music had changed completely. (表示在20世纪60年代后期过去时间 之前,他们的音乐就已经改变了)b. In the late 1960s their music changed completely. (表示在20世纪60年代后期时,他们的音乐改变了)3.
