The multimedia courseware of a picture of a doctor and a picture of a factory with a lot of black smoke.3. The multimedia courseware of main points showing and the exercises.Teaching procedure:Step 1 GreetingThe teacher and the students greet each other.Whats the date today ? Whos on duty today ?Do you finish your homework ?Do you want to live on the moon ?Can you guess what will happen in ten years ?Collect the Ss answers and say something about their predictions .Step 2 Presentation1.Show a picture on the screen and ask a student: T: Look at this picture. What will you be in 10 years? S: I will be a doctor. T: Where will you work? S: I will work in Ganzhou.2.Ask another student:T: What will she be in 10 years?S: She will be a doctor.T: Where will she work?S: She will work in Ganzhou.Points: will + 动词原形/ be3.Show other pictures and ask students to make simple conversations. Move around to give any necessary help.4.Get several pairs to say their conversations.5.Prompt the students to say what they think the word will is used for. Teacher gives comments on the studentswork and tells the class:The word will here is used to tell the future actions or states.Step 3 Practice1.Get the students to look at the picture in 1a and then talk about what they have seen in it. Teach the new word robot at the same time.2.Ask each group to read a sentence.Say, These are the things the world will be in 100 years. Do you agree these predictions. Check A(for agree), D(for disagree).Points: will not = wont There will be Theyll study at home on computers. live to be3.Ask students to look at the sentences in 1a. Play the recording for twice for the students to listen and circle the predictions they hear. Then check their answers.4.Call attention to the conversation in 1c. Ask two pairs to read it to the class.Then others make the similar conversations using the predications in 1a. And get a pair from each group to say their conversation to the class.5.Have the students read the sentences in 2a first,and teach the new word pollution using a picture of a factory producing a lot of black smoke. Point out “more, less, fewer”few- fewer + the plural form of countable nouns little - less+ uncountable nouns many/much- more +uncountable nouns/the plural form of countable nouns 6.Play the recording for the students to listen and circle the words they hear.7.Play the recording again for them to check their answers.Step 4 Consilidation1.Get the students to cooperate with the teacher acting out the dialogue in the box in 2c.2.Have the students work in groups of four using the following structures:A: I think there will beB:Well, I dont agree. But I think there will beC: I agree.3.Have the class read through the sentences in the table of Grammar Focus and raise questions if they dont understand any of the sentences.4.Practice the sentences with the items on the screen.1). 我将去西藏。 I _ go to Tibet.
