考研图表作文大纲样题及模拟题1.大纲样题:In this section, you are asked to write an essay based on the following table, in which you should 1)describe the table and 2)state your opinions drawn from it.Accidents in a Chinese City (2005)Main accident causesnumber of accidents in 2005percentage rise(+) or fall (-) over 20041. drivers turning left without due care608+10%2. drivers traveling too close to other vehicles411+9%3.pedestrians crossing roads carelessly401+12%4. drivers driving under the influence of alcohol281+15%5. drivers failing to give a signal264-5% The table above clearly reflects the statistics of traffic accidents happening in a Chinese city. According to the table, in 2005, the traffic accidents in the Chinese city still failed to arouse concerns of both drivers and pedestrians. The number of accidents that resulted from drivers turning left without due care increased 10 percent to 608, which is highlighted on the first row of the table. Accidents related drivers driving under the influence of alcohol enjoyed the greatest rise, a 15 percent rise. In comparison, those pedestrians who cross roads carelessly also led to 401 accidents. By analyzing these factors displayed in the diagram, we may draw the conclusion that both drivers and pedestrians have little respect for traffic regulations. As has been mentioned above, countermeasures should be taken immediately so as to reverse the grim situation. First of all, relevant laws and regulations should be established to severely punish those who violate traffic rules openly, be they drivers or pedestrians. Furthermore, a widespread education campaign should be launched to inform citizens that proper rules for them are of benefit to public safety. Only by doing so can we exist in a harmonious and disciplined society. (196 words)2. Directions: In this section, you are asked to write an essay based on the following diagram. Describe the diagram and analyze the possible causes.1998-2004年全国工程硕士招生录取人数工程硕士:Master of Engineering(图略)The diagram above clearly illustrates that dramatic elevation has occurred in the recruitment of Master of Engineering (ME) in the past seven years. According to the statistics given above, we may conclude that the recruitment of ME was on a steady rise from 1998 to 2004. In 1998, the number was at a low level, only about 2,500. Surprisingly, it reached to more than 35,000 in 2004 within no more than seven years. Some driving factors that contribute to the above-mentioned changes may be summarized as follows. First and foremost, China has become particularly active in manufacturing, which leads to the increasing demand of qualified engineers. In addition, the development of job market on the whole cannot keep pace with the expansion of college graduates, which obliges a large number of students to stay on campus for another three years to get better prepared for their career. Last but not least, working pressure is another reason. Taking all these factors into account, we may predict that with speedy development of our society, the number of recruitment of ME will keep growing in the forthcoming decade. On the other side of the coin, however, this tendency may bring about a good many problems, such as the waste of talent. It is necessary for us to take effective measures to ensure this situation doesnt get out of hand, and encourage students to choose majors in which theoretical knowledge and practical skills will be demanded in the job market. Directions: In this section, you are asked to write an essay based on the following chart, in which you should 1) describe the chart and 2) state your opinions drawn from it.Number of Graduates in the United State by Degree Granted Between 1995 and 2001(in thousands)High school Diploma Associate Degree BachelorsDegree MasterDegree DoctoralDegree1995 2329 458 1047 324 361997 2452 463 1015 324 361999 2587 477 1010 325 362001 2865 489 1037 327 36 From this table we may see the number of graduates in the United State by degree granted between 1995 and 2001. As we conclude from the statistics, high school diploma has been in a steady rising in the past few years in the United States. In a matter of 6 years, there is a net increase of more than half million high school diploma. So is the case with associate degree. Although the net increase is not as great as high school diploma, there is a trend of rising with each passing year. Bachelors degree seems to be on a fluctuation. In 1995, the number of bachelors degree was 1047,000. But this figure declined as time went on 2001 saw a little increase of bachelors degree, coming to 1037,000, but still a bit lower than the 1995 figure.Masters degree seems to be stable in the past 6 years, with only a little increase of 2,000 in 1999 and 2001 respectively. Doctors degree is the most stable case of all. During the past 6 years the number has remained unchanged. From the above cases we may come to the conclusion: the higher the degree, the more stable the education in the United State. (203 words)4. Directions: In this section, you are asked to write an essay based on the following chart, in which you should 1)describe the chart and 2) state your opinions drawn from it. 1999 HEALTH CARE EXPENDITURES (to the nearest whole percent) Total $ 550 billion (Source: Health Care Financing and Administration)(图略) From the pie chart we see health care expenditures in U.S.A in 1999, which consists of seven parts: hospital care, physician service, program administration and insurance costs, nursing care, dental service, drug and medical expenses and others. As we may conclude from this chart, hospital care takes the greatest portion of the whole health care expenditures, accounting for 40% of the total sum. Physician services rank the second, closely following hospital care, taking up 20% ($110 billion) of the total sum of $550 billion. The other expenditures include nursing care, dental service, drug and medical expenses, program administration and insurance costs, and other expenditures. This chart shows clearly the Americans, just like people elsewhere in the world, take more attention to the welfare directly concerning their health: they spend a major part(60%) of their preceding drug and medical expenses, which seems to be different from what exist in most third word countries, for example, in China, where drug and medical expenses account for a major part of the total health care expenditures. In my opinion, the labor force is much more expensive in the U.S than in the third world countries, and that is why nursing care costs more than quite a few items do. (220 words)5. Directions: In this section, you are asked to write an essay based on the following chart, in which you should 1) describe the chart and2) state your opinions drawn from it. DISCIPLINARY TECHNIQUES: USED BY NORTH AMERICAN PARENTS OF CHILDREN UNDER TWELVE1962 SURVEY VS. 1992 SURVEY(图略) From this diagram we may see how parents in North American have changed their disciplinary techniques for children under twelve within a period of 30 years. In 1962, the most frequent used disciplinary techniques for the parents is spanking, i.e. striking their children on the buttocks with the open hand, which accounts for 60% of all the disciplinary techniques. In comparison, this disciplinary technique is used far less than it was 30 years ago, accounting only a little more than 15%. The parents second disciplinary technique
