Teaching processStep I. Lead in -Greeting and making an introductionCall the students English names in order to make them be familiar with the English names as soon as possible. Play games “Simon says” , follow the action as I say . Set up the situation (bring a toy baby to the classroom), and lead in the target language “Hello/ Hi/ Ggood morning/Good afternoon/How are you?/ Nice to meet you!” then ask some students to introduce themselves using the target language. Step II. PresentationActivity one (task one): Making new friends Have a free talk: - Hi,my name is susan. Nice to meet you.- Nice to meet you,too.- Whats your name?- My name is .Then teach “Whats your/his/her name?” and answer “My/His/Her name is.”Work in groups and have a competition, the person who remember the names most is the winner.
