MODULE 1 TEACHING PLANContent:Module 1 Wonders of the world Junior 3 , New standard English一、 题材内容本模块以世界奇迹景观为话题,重点是世界奇迹景观介绍。教学中应结合学生地理知识的实际情况,灵活掌握教学过程,组织教学内容,丰富学生知识,拓展学生视野。二、 教学目标1) 语言知识:词汇ancient, club, composition, natural, stranger, reply, below, bottom, huge, height 词组get out of, look over, on the edge of, at the bottom of , listen up 语法掌握英语中常用的时态; 灵活运用,提高综合运用能力。功能介绍世界奇迹景观。话题向全班同学做有关世界奇迹景观的介绍。2) 语言技能:听听懂有关世界奇迹景观的介绍的简短对话,提高学生实际应用能力。说能利用不同时态句型介绍世界奇迹景观;流利的说出含有本模块生词、短语。读能读懂关于世界奇迹景观介绍的简单文章。 进行简单的阅读技能训练写能运用不同英语常用时态句型写出简短的关于世界奇迹景观介绍的句子演示与表达面向全班同学做有关世界奇迹景观的介绍。3)学习策略学习一定程度形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。认知联系,归纳,推测等技能调控从同伴处得到反馈,对自己在叙述及作文中的错误进行修改交际学习运用恰当词语介绍世界奇迹景观资源通过其他资源获取更多介绍世界奇迹景观的信息。自学策略培养话题和词汇的语言域意识,形成话题联想的习惯。合作学习策略掌握询问和澄清策略。掌握搭配策略。4)文化意识:中外对比中西方家庭观念的差异。5)情感态度: 增加对世界奇迹景观的知识了解,培养保护世界奇迹景观的道德意识。6)任务: 能够运用所学句型结构向他人介绍世界奇迹景观.三、 教学重点和难点 重点:1如何使用地道的英语介绍世界奇迹景观.。2掌握英语中常用的时态; 灵活运用,提高综合运用能力。 难点:能用恰当地道的英语介绍人们介绍世界奇迹景观情况。四、 教学方法基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“PTP”自主学习立体模式:pre-tasktask-cyclepost-task。五、 教材处理核心任务:能够运用所学句型结构向不同的朋友介绍世界奇迹景观情况。三个环节如下:pre-task:学生联系地理实际,激活背景知识,。task cycle:通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化“介绍世界奇迹景观。”的表达能力,为完成任务做好铺垫post-task):达成任务,展示成果,反馈学习情况六、 教材安排根据学生学习英语的特点和规律,我们把本模块划分为4课时:Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary / pronunciation and SpeakingPeriod 2 Reading and Vocabulary Period 3. Language in use Period 4. Wonders of the world &Module Task- Writing a post 注:教学时应根据学生的学习水平、接受程度及课堂出现的临时状况进行运用、调整及筛选。教学设计Title: Module 1. Wonders of the world Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary Teaching Content : Listening and Vocabulary Teaching Aims and Demands:1. Language Knowledge Key vocabulary: ancient, club , composition, pupil, review, meeting, listen up, call ,event Key structure: review some learnt (重点) 2.Listening skill: To process information of school magazine in listening. Improve the students listening ability. (难点)3.Affection and attitudes: We should love the natural wonders and protect them.Learning strategies:Interactive approach and listening the tape and do some exercises.Teaching Aids: Multi-Media (Tape recorder , video, OHP, handout)Teaching Procedures:Part I: Lead in: Task: Look at the picture. School Dance. (activity 1 and 2 on page 2)Directions:Step one: Do activity 2 on page 2 to ask the Ss to look at the picture and talk about it with a partner, using the words in the box for help.Step two: Listen and check the words with the tape.Step three: Ask the students to do activity 2 on page 2. Step four : Read the answers and think of the questions.Part II: Listening and VocabularyTask : To understand conversations .Improve the students listening ability .1 .activity 3 on page 2 Task: Listen and read:Directions:Step one: Explain that the students have to choose the best answers while they are listening to the dialogue.Step two : Play the recording once while they just listen. Step three: Play the recording once again for them to choose the answers by themselves. Step four : Play the recording once again for them, then check the answers with a partner.Call back the answers in a whole- class setting.Step five: Play the recording and ask the Ss. to listen and read the conversation in a whole- class setting.Step six: Play the recording again and pause after some important expressions, asking the Ss. to repeat chorally and individually.2. Dealing with expressions Directions:Step one: Play the recording again and pause after some important expressions. Step two : Ask the Ss. to explain the main meanings of the important expressions . Step three: Explain the language notes of the important expressions. Step four: Ask different students to make some similar expressions with the language notes.Part III: Make a dialogue with activity 5 on page 3Directions:Step one: Let the Ss look at the questions.Step two : Ask the Ss to find a partner to make a talk with the questions.Step three: Ask some groups to act out their dialogues.Part IV: Pronunciation and speaking with activity 6 on page 3Directions:Step one : Play the recording to ask the Ss. to listen to the sentences.Step two: Ask the Ss. to say the sentences aloud.Part V: Work in pairsStep one: Ask the Ss to make a list of articles for their own school magazine.Step two : Put the Ss. int
