Section B ( 1a-1d)年级:七年级学科:英语授课人:苏慧慧 Section B (1a-1d)一、Analysis of teaching materialsThis lesson mainly trains students to know how to speak family members in English and to use the sentence patterns “This is”/ “That is”/ “These are ”to introduce their family members in their family photos.Activity 1a teaches students the new words of family members. The two activities 1b and 1c help students further understand the usage of the target language through listening; 1d provides speaking activities to consolidate the target language.二、Analysis of the students Students in grade 7 are curious about English. They are willing to communicate some personal information with others. They can understand some simple words with the help of pictures or videos. But they still have difficulty in learning English. So we should use some ways to arouse their interest. 三、Teaching Objectives:1. Knowledge Objectives:1) To master the words of family members:son, daughter, cousin, grandpa, grandma, mom, dad, aunt, uncle。2. Ability Objectives:1)Students can have a better understanding of the relationship among their family members and know how to call their family members properly.3. Ability Objectives:Students can feel and express their love to their family and others.三、Teaching important points:To learn how to call their family members.To grasp the usage of “this/that/there “demonstrative Pronouns.四、Teaching difficult points:To know the relationship among their family.To learn to introduce family members by using family photos.五、Teaching procedures. Warming- up Step1. Organization: Greeting the students. Step2. Lead-in Share an English song “Look at my family photo” with students.设计意图:通过歌曲引入”family photo”, 让学生初步感知家庭成员的英文称呼,激起学生学习的兴趣。. PresentationStep1. Teach new words.T: Now I want to show some photos of my family to you. Look at this photo, please. This is a picture of my family. Look! Its me. This is my dad. This is my mom. They are good parents. This is my brother (Use some family photos to teach new words: dad, mom, son, daughter, aunt, cousin)设计意图:通过展示真实的图片,创设了真实的情景,生动形象,体现语言的交际性,图片能吸引学生的注意力,加深他们对单词的印象, 为下面的教学做好铺垫。Step2. Present the family tree of my family and ask students to spell the word of the family members.设计意图:及时的巩固教授的新单词。Step 3. Teach 1a.T: My friend Jiang Tao has a big family too. Here is his family tree. Now lets help him to complete it. Look at the family tree (家谱) in 1a. Now read the family tree and add the words in the box to the family tree. (Ask students to do it on their books.)2. Check the answers. Step . PracticeListening (Activities 1b and 1c)1. Teach 1b. Listen and check the words you hear.T: Jiang Tao and Tom are talking about Jiang Taos family. How many family members are they talking about? Please listen and check the words you hear. (Play the recording of 1b.) Ask two more students to say the answers. 2. Teach 1c. Listen and check the picture.T: I have two pictures here. Which one are Jiang Tao and Tom talking about? Lets listen and find it out, please.(Play the recording a second time.) Check the answer.3. Retell the sentences. T: Listen again and try to retell the conversation sentence by sentence. If you have any problems , you can read the listening material.设计意图:让学生带着问题听,有效的捕捉自己所感知到的信息,通过多种方式训练学生的听力能力。Step Consolidation Teach Activity 1d 1. T: We find out the picture of Toms family. Can you draw a picture of your family and friends?SS: T: OK. When you finish drawing, tell your partner about your picture. You can use “This is ” and “These are ” to introduce your family. Then report it to the class. (Students work.) 2. Check students work. Ask two or three students to report. e.g. These are my parents and this is my grandma. This is my friend, Lin Fang.Step. Extension. (Writing)Write some words to your parents to express your love.T: I love my family. I want to say “I love you” to my parents. Do you want to say something to your parents? Write them down on your paper and stick it on the blackboard.设计意图:情感教育是教育的重要组成部分,本节课的内容让学生学会爱家人,爱别人,使知识的学习上升到情感的高度。Step. SummaryLead the students to summarize the key words and sentences we have learnt today. Present them on the screen.设计意图:通过师生一起总结课堂所学内容,帮助学生明确学习重点,梳理知识结构,培养学生的概括能力。Step.
