人教版七年级英语上册Unit7 How much are these socks ? Section A(1a-2e)秦皇岛市抚宁区台营学区麻姑营初级中学 张国春一、教材分析本课时以谈论服装为主题,通过介绍服装,学习一些常用的服装名词;能掌握“询问价格”的句型:How much is this T-shirt? Its seven dollarsHow much are these socks? They are two dollars;掌握一些购买衣服时常用的语言表达方式;并能写出一些简单的购物对话。通过本课时一系列听、说、读、写的训练,让学生们会使用How much引导的问句以及回答;复习名词单、复数的使用和指示代词this, that,these,those的用法。二、学情分析本节课通过学习how much和what color等引导的问句以及回答,教授学生如何询问价格和颜色;学会谈论对服装的喜好和如何购物等。采取了对话表演的形式,让学生在语言环境中运用语言,感受到英语学习的乐趣。大部分七年级学生已经具备了一定的英语知识运用和表达能力,乐于运用所学知识来和同伴在较为真实的语境中进行交流。鉴于以上原因,我尝试开展课堂学生互动回答式的口语交际活动,来进行练习。三、教学策略本课时我将采用自主学习、小组合作探究学习、Repeating和Cooperation的学习策略,利用多媒体课件来展开课堂Pair work问答式的口语交际活动,谈论服装的价格和各自对服装的喜好。语音教学可采用模仿操练的方法;词汇教学可采用演示讲解、情景操练、反复使用的方法;口语教学可采用互相操练、对话练习、交际活动的方法;语法教学可采用总结规律、模仿操练的方法。四、教学目标1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌下列词汇:socks, T-shirt, shorts, sweater, trousers, shoes, skirt, dollar, woman, need, look, pair, take 2) 能掌握以下句型: How much is this T-shirt? Its seven dollars. How much are these socks? Theyre two dollars. Can I help you? Yes, please. Here you are. Thank you. 3) 能掌握在购物时的一些常用语言,并在真实或模拟的语境下,运用所学的语言进行交际。2. 情感态度价值观目标: 该部分学习内容涉及学生的穿着,是爱美的中学生们最为关心的话题,比较贴近学生的生活,极易于激发学生的主动性和学习兴趣;同时通过购物的对话练习教学生学会如何感谢人。五、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 通过听、说、读的教学活动,让学生掌握表示衣服的英语名称以及描述衣服的形容词。2) 通过对话表演让学生在较为真实的的语境下,运用所学的语言进行购物的交际。2. 教学难点:1)掌握一些衣服的名称。2)通过对话表演让学生在较为真实的的语境下,运用所学的语言进行购物的交际。六、教学过程Step1. Free talk(4 minutes)One student stands in the front of the classroom and talk about her family. They can talk about their jobs, ages, their likes and dislikes. The other students take out of a piece of paper and write down some questions and messages. Then ask some questions each other.(This part, we can practice the students oral English and revise the knowledge that we have learnt. We can lead in the next step, too.)T: At first, lets begin our free talk. Who is on duty today? (I am) OK, come here and do your duty report. T: Do you like shopping? I dont like shopping but I have to go shopping because I must buy some clothes for my son. This class I will take you shopping. In this class we will learn Step 2. Learn some new words(3 minutes)Show two pictures of my son to teach some clothes such as socks, shorts, sweater etc. Teach students the pronunciation of those clothes and repeat for times. Let Ss read the new words aloud individually or in pairs. (This activity provides guided pronunciation practice)T: Do you know who he is? Yes, this is my son. What is he wearing? He is wearing a T-shirt, shorts, socks and shoes. But winter is coming, its cold. He must wear a coat and trousers. In fact he likes his shirt best but he never wears a blouse and a skirt.Step3. Guessing games (3 minutes)Give some pictures about clothes quickly and then ask students to say what they are in order to lead students to revise the new words. (Lead students to revise the new words.)T: Now lets have a guessing game and see who has a good memory. Are you ready? Go! What is this?Step4. Learn by yourself (9 minutes)Give students two minutes to read 1a and look at the picture, then they must finish four tasks. Task1. Match the words with the pictures. Task2. Read the words and remember the words. Task3. Read the dialogue in 1a and understand the meaning. Task4. Different expressions of money.1.The teacher asks the students to look at the picture on P37 and match the words with the things in the picture.2.Show some pictures of clothes, ask the students to say what they are.3.Teach two dialogues about how to ask the prices.4.Introduce three expressions of money. (Students can practice their ability of teaching themselves.)T: After learning these clothes doing 1a is so easy. Now I will give you two minutes to finish these four tasks. T: First look at the picture on P37 and match the words with the things in the picture. Can you remember these words? Lets have a try. Do you know how to ask the price? What do we use to buy things? Next I want to introduce three expressions of money.Step5. Listening (4 minutes)In this part, we will listen once. Listen carefully and finish 1b. After listening students must circle the things they hear in the picture in 1a. Show the tapescript on the screen. Point out the conversations on the screen and ask students to read after the tape.(This activity provides listening practice using the target language.)T: Next well hear a conversation about shopping. The recording will be played only once. So listen to it carefully and circle the things they hear in the picture in 1a. Are you ready? T: Now boys act A and girls act B, please read them aloud. This time, girls act A and boys act B. Read them again.Step6. Group work and practice (7 minutes)The teacher asks the students to discuss in their groups and finish two tasks. Task1. How to ask the prices of different things. Tasks 2.When should we use “is” and “are” .Next the teacher shows some pictures of clothes and leads the students to practice in pairs and then the teacher asks some pairs to ask and answer. Many students will give their dialogues. (Design intention:Offer the Ss an opportunity to complete the tasks. The activity reflects real life. It can develop the students interests in learning English. This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language.)T: After learning 1a and 1b you can discuss in your groups and finish these two tasks. I will give you two minutes so please be quick. T: Now its time to practice. Which pair wants to have a try? Step7. Pair work (8 minutes)Show the tapescript on the screen. Call attention to the conversation on the screen. Listen to the tape, and then ask students to read it together. Ask Ss to work in pairs.Make sure everyone talks about at least one of the people on the screen. Ask pairs of Ss to present their conversations to the class.(This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language.)T: Mary is shopping in a clothes shop. What does she want to buy? What color are they? Now listen to the conversation and answer my questions. T: Now read the text together. Boys act the woman and girls act Mary. Next I will give you two minutes to work in pairs.At last I will ask some pairs to present your conversations to the class.Step8. Summary and do some exercises (6 minutes)The students sum up the knowledge that they have learnt this class. If they have any questions, they can ask the teacher. The teacher gives six exercises to practice the knowledge that they have learnt. The students can choose different levels exercises one by one.T: What did you get in this lesson? What problems did you have? Who can sum up?T: Perfect! You are really the best. T: Now well do some exercises in order to review the knowledge that we have learnt. Exercise 1 is the easiest and exercise 6 is the most difficult. Which are you going to choose?Step9. Homework (1 minutes)Give the students todays homework. If there is more time they can learn to evaluate themselves and others.T: All of you did a good job. Homework for today- 1. Remember the words and phrases in this unit. 2. Make up three dialogues about your friends clothes. How much is/are? Its/Theyre . 3. Make a conversation about shopping. (选做题)七、板书设
