Unit 7 How much are these socks?一、单元教材分析本单元以谈论价格和购物为话题,通过介绍服装,学生能学习一些常用的服装名词,能掌握询问价格的句型:How much is this T-shirt? Its seven dollarsHow much are these socks? They are two dollars.学生能掌握一些购买衣服时,常用的语言表达方式,能阅读一些简单的服装广告信息,并能写出一些简单的广告。二、单元学情分析本单元的主题是谈论价格和购物,通过学习服装类单词和how much等引导的问句以及回答,学生知道如何询问价格和谈论如何购物等。学生熟悉了衣服类单词和询问价格的句型后,能阅读一些简单的服装广告信息,并能写出一些简单的广告。 Section B 1 (2a-3b) 一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识技能目标:1) 学生能掌握下列词汇: Mr. clothes, store, buy, sale, sell, all, very, price, boy, a pair of2)学生通过阅读服装商店的促销广告,获得其服装的价格,阅读广告中的文章或图片获取衣服的颜色等相关信息。3)学生能够根据教师所给mind-map图的引导口头表达不同类衣服的价格的句型。 4)学生能根据提供的情景完成购物表演和根据口头练习的衣服价格句型写作简单卖服装的广告。2. 情感态度价值观目标:日常生活中,人们去买东西之前,一般要阅读广告,从广告中获取该商品的一些有用信息,包括价格、性能等。所以给学生提供有些商品的广告或让学生去商店去阅读一些商品的广告,从中获取商品的价格,即可以锻炼学生的阅读能力,又能提高实践能力。商店通常会有段时间将服装打折销售,因此在此期间买衣服将能以较便宜的价格买到一些服装。让学生们了解一些社会经济常识,并知道此时买所需的衣服能节约金钱,养成货比三家的习惯,为以后走上社会积累经验。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1)学生通过阅读服装商店的促销广告,获得其服装的价格,阅读广告中的文章或图片获取衣服的颜色等相关信息。2)学生能够根据教师所给mind-map图的引导口头表达不同类衣服的价格的句型。2. 教学难点:1)学生通过阅读广告中的文章或图片获取衣服的颜色等相关信息。2)学生能够根据教师所给mind-map图的引导口头表达不同类衣服的价格的句型。 3)学生能根据提供的情景完成购物表演和根据口头练习的衣服价格句型写作 简单卖服装的广告。三、教学过程. Before reading 1. Look at the picture. Whats this? What color is it? What are these? What color are they? All these are clothes. Teach students to read “clothes”. Now there is a clothes festival(服装节) in Shawan. Many clothes stores have a great sale.Lets have a look and buy something we need to save(节约) money( Teach students to read clothes, write these words “sale,buy, sell”on the blackboard and teach them to read these words )2. First of all, lets go to the first clothes store Mr Green s Clothes Store. Look! What does it sell? It sells.How much is the .? Do you want to buy something from this store? Dont hurry! 3. Lets go the Mr Cools Clothes Store. Look at the picture. What does it sell? It sells. Look at the word SALE. I think the clothes are very cheap. I think the green sweater is $20.How about you? I think.We just guess the prices.Lets read the ad to find what it sells and the prices.( teach students the word ad, write an ad on the blackboard.)II. While reading1. Read the ad, find the clothes and write them in the boxes.(让学生快速浏览找出衣服店所卖的衣服,培养学生快速获取信息的能力)Mr. Cools Clothes Store2. Find the colors of the clothes in the passage or in the picture.(文章中的shorts, jacket 和 socks只能在图片中去寻找信息,有部分学生会感觉到困难,教师会在读前做指导)3. Find the prices of the clothes. Ask students to pay attention to the numbers. Check the answers. Students answer the questions like this “ The green sweater is $15.” ( 这一部分主要是让学生能用完整句子表达衣物的价格,为后面的写作做准备)4. According to the chart ,fill in the price tags ,then check the answers like this “ We have green sweaters for only $15.” ( 这主要是让学生明白表达衣物价格,可以用另一种表达方式,为后面写作的多样性做准备)5. Look at the picture.I think the socks are very cheap. But people dont know it. Can you help Mr Cool to read the ad aloud? (学生边展示学生们带来的衣服,边叫卖文章,引起其他同学的关注)6. After listening, do you want to buy something from this shop?(请两位学生进行现场买衣服表演,让学生明白购物的常用语的句型) 7. Imagine you work at Mr. Cools Clothes Store. Three people a group to complete this part.Pay attention to the clothes, colors and prices. Check the answers and role-play the conversation. You: Hello, _ I help you?Girl: Yes, please. I need a _.You: How about these purple _?Girl: Oh, I like this one. How _ is it?You: Its only _ dollars.Girl: Oh, good. Ill _ it.You: And what do you need? Ill take the _ and the _. III. After reading1. Now lets go another clothes store to have a look.Look! Its Huaxing Clothes Store.Look at the words “Big Sale”. I think the clothes are also cheap. What are they? What color are they? How much are they? Now you can decide to which store to buy clothes to save money. A foreigner(外国人) wants to buy the clothes, please help the store owner(店主) to write an English ad. Huaxing Clothes Store Do you like _? We have _ for only _ yuan.
