Say“Hello”to teacher.2. Sing a song “How do you do?”Step 2 Review1. Talk with individual S and ask several Ss to talk with each other with a view to reviewing the following English:Good morning!/How are you?/Fine,thank you.And you?Im fine,too./How old are you?2. Ask several students to make introductions.The dialogue goes like this:S1:This is.S2:How do you do ?S3:How do you do?3.Review“whats this in English?” and its corresponding answers and some pronouns. Ask “Whats this in english?” and its corresponding answers and some pronouns. Ask “what”s this ?” “What are these?” holding up a pencil box / a book /an eraser / bananas /cards of cats. The expected answer is “It is.” and “They are .”Ask “Is this /are they your/his /her .?”The expected answer is “Yes, it is/they are.”and “No, it isnt/ they arent”.Ask “Whose is it/are they?” the expected answer is “It is /they are mine hers.”Step3 Presentation1. Write“duty”on the board.2. Write“on”before“duty”.3. Get class to repeat after you.Step4 DrillT: are you on duty today?S1: Yes,Im on duty today.T: Are you on duty today:S2: No,Im not on duty today.Point: 1.Get Ss to repeat the question and answer.2.Get several pairs to do the same.Step5 Presentation 1.
