英语专业毕业论文格式基本要求为了规范论文写作，确保论文质量，特制订外语系英语专业毕业论文格式基本要求，请参照执行。一、论文封面 封皮用宋体四号字填写，专业、年级、姓名及指导教师姓名、职称均用汉字填写，论文标题用4号Tims New Romes（以下称新罗马）字体。二、开题报告开题报告学生基本信息部分如姓名、班级用小四号宋体。正文用英文填写（小四号新罗马字体）或中文填写（小四号宋体）。三、中期检查表中期检查表用汉语填写，小四号宋体字。四、论文正文论文正文包括：目录、标题、学生姓名、学号、专业、各系、导师姓名、导师职称、英语摘要、英语关键词、中文摘要、中文关键词、正文内容、参考文献等。除中文摘要、关键词外，论文正文部分使用英文撰写。论文字数介于6000-8000字。1）“Contents”用三号新罗马字体加粗、居中，目录内容一级标题用四号新罗马字，二级标题用小四号新罗马字，三级标题用小四新罗马字。目录内容与标题空两行。目录的行间距为1.5倍。目录中汉字用四号黑体字。目录页不加页码。目录原则上控制在一页以内。2）论文标题：三号新罗马加粗、居中；标题中实词首字母需大写，标题中的作品名称应为斜体字。特别说明：正文的行间距均为23磅。正文需加上页码（居中）。3）学生和导师信息：使用五号新罗马字体分三行打印居中。其中英文为：Foreign Language Department; 导师的英文为：Supervisor; 职称的英文为：Title; 职称分别为：讲师（Instructor）, 副教授（Associate professor）, 教授（Professor）。4）摘要英文摘要在前，中文摘要在后。英文摘要、关键词首行不空格， “Abstract”、 “Key words”均需加粗。汉语“摘要”、“关键词”用小四黑体加粗且缩进两个汉字的距离。汉语摘要内容用小四号楷体字。5）关键词A：关键词的数量应该在3-6个之间。B：英文关键词首字母不大写（专有名词除外），英文、中文的关键词之间用分号隔开。C：英文关键词与中文摘要间空两行。中文关键词与正文间空一行。6）论文正文A：论文正文中一级标题用新罗马四号字体加粗且实词首字母大写；二级标题用新罗马小四号字体加粗且实词首字母大写，三级标题用新罗马小四号字体不加粗。正文内容用小四新罗马字体。B：论文中引用别人的话要用括号注明作者及年份，如（Xu Shenghuan, 1999）。C：论文正文中每个段落首行缩进4个字符。D：正文中出现的文学作品、学术著作名称使用斜体。7）参考文献（Bibliography后加冒号）A：参考文献分为英语参考文献和汉语参考文献。总数不少于15篇，其中英语参考文献不少于10篇。英语参考文献使用小四号新罗马字体，汉语参考文献使用小四号宋体字。B：参考文献的顺序依次为：参考文献编号（用方括号）、作者名：圆点、作品名称（英文应为斜体）、作品类别（用方括号）、圆点、出版地、冒号、出版社、出版年份、圆点。C：电子文献的格式举例如下：6王明亮.关于中国学术期刊标准化数据库工程的进展EB/OL./pub/wml.txt/980810-2.html,1998-08-15/1998-10-04.（Time New Roman三号字加黑 居中）Contents（黑体四号） （以下内容行间距离1.5倍行距） （空两格）（一级标题Time New Roman四号）Abstracts1Key words1摘要1关键词21. However, the research mainly concentrates on the form to form comparison or stop at certain aspects of the structure, and we also are taught by many writings and grammar books or books on stylistics to avoid using passive voice if possible, our computer would never fail to remind us to be on the second thoughts when using a passive structure. As a matter of fact, in many cases the passive voice is necessary and even preferable than the active voice. Therefore, it is conducive to investigate into the functions of the passive in the two languages before one can choose the most appropriate form to express it in the bilingual transference. The dissertation will start with the mainly same functions of the passive voice in English and Chinese, and then move on to the other functions of passive voice in English, which is intended to give a contrastive study of the English passive voice and the Chinese passive voice not mere syntactically but mainly from functional approach, with an aim to cast some light on this important grammatical aspect.
