Lead in Show some pictures of the strange places in the world, and lead into the Stonehenge2. Reading 1) Pre-reading:Look at some sentences and pay attention to the linking words Do 2a, match each linking word or phrase with its purpose Then make students read the article in 2b, underline the linking words and try to give the purpose for each.2) Reading 1. Let students read the article one paragraph by one paragraph, for each paragraph ask and answer some questions. 2. Let students read the article again, as quickly as they can. Then try to put the right answers into the chart. Check the answers with the class. 3) Post reading1. Work on 2d Complete the sentences using the words from the chart in 2a2. Check the answers.
