Besides, an object clause can also be used after an adjective such as glad, afraid, happy, sure, etc.（1） When the main sentence is in the Present Indefinite Tense or the Future Indefinite Tense, give the students some simple sentences and show them how to change them into clauses. Have the students make more sentences in the same way.1) Change Declarative Sentences into object clauses: Get the students to pay special attention to the conjunction “that”.
