It is ten oclock.A:Sorry,mom. I want to play the computer game for a longer time.B:Be quickly. Or you will be late for school tomorrow.A:Oh,no. B:Come on, please.A:No. I should be allowed to have free time. Ive grown up.Tomorrow morning, eight oclockJack is opening the door of the classroom)(设计此环节的意图在于引发学生共鸣,激起学生的学习兴趣。)导入语:相信大部分同学都有过类似的经历,那么你们后来都理解父母的“唠叨”了吗?让我们一起来走进这首诗,看看作者的经历与感受吧。二、 感知新课1. 单词大比拼tiny cry hug badly adult field talk back(学生自读,领读,齐读,蛇形读,多种读法,吸引学生,同时为学生快速阅读奠定基础)2. Fast ReadRequirement:Learn about the meaning of the poem.(学生在完成任务后展示自己的答案,说出文章大意。在此基础上,学生进行仔细阅读更加容易)3. Read carefullyRead carefully and discuss the questions with your partner.Part 1:Question: What did the mom do when the writer was a baby and a small child?(1) 给学生们小组合作的时间,让其充分讨论,尊重学生的主体地位,发挥学生的积极性。在此过程中要求学生明确含情态动词的被动语态的句子并体会其用法。(2) 让学生自主展示答案,师生共同点评,并在此过程中了解词组:sleep in warm arms, run though the filed, make sure, give sb. a hug, lift sb. up Part 2 Question: Why do you think the writer talked back to his mom when he was seven and nine years old?(过程同part 1,需要掌握的词组:cough badly, talk back)Part 3Question: How did the writer feel when he was a teenager and his mom said“Please be back by ten”?(过程同part 1,需要掌握的词组:be back, by+时间点)Part 4Question: After reading the whole poem, how do you think the writer feels about his mom?
