Unit 1 How can we become good learnersSection A 1a-2d 教材分析: 本单元话题围绕学习本身,讲述了学习的障碍及应对的解决方法,对学生有重要意义。内容比较贴近学生的生活,比较能引起学生的兴趣。Section A 通过围绕同学之间相互交谈,教师与学生之间关于怎样学习英语的对话等形式来开展教学活动。内容上侧重英语学习的方法,需要学生学习,训练相关语言内容及技能。本部分教学结束时,学生应该重点掌握并能熟练,正确地运用以下内容:功能及句型结构方:How do you study? I study by. How can I ? You can by;词汇方面:教材所呈现的与学习主题相关的单词及短语。语法方面:用by+动词-ing结构来表达方式方法。学情分析 本单元教材面对的是九年级学生,学生有了一定的学习英语的基础,而且所学内容比较贴近学生生活,对于语法知识:by+v-ing结构并不难,因此学生掌握起来并不难。教学重点和难点 1,学会运用How?及其答语By+doing句型,能够正确谈论自己的学习方法。教学过程 Step Warming up and self- learning Task One:Find out the meaning of the following words. 1)textbook_2)conversation_3) aloud_ 4)句子_5)有耐心的_6)pronounce-n. (发音.读音)_7)制作单词卡 _8) 大声朗读_9)进行对话_ Task Two Linking the following phrases with their meanings.1. 制作单词卡 A. have conversations2. 大声朗读 B. spoken English3. 进行对话 C. listen to tapes4. 英语口语 D. read aloud5. 听磁带 E. make word cards2. Read and recite the key words and phrases. Step Presentation. 1. Leading in the following conversation by showing students some pictures and get the students to practice the conversation.A:How do you study for a test?B:I study by . 2.Pairwork(1c). Show students some pictures and get students to practice the conversation with their partners .Then invite some pairs to act out their conversations.3. Students Finish 1a. Then check the answers.Step III Teaching Tasks1.Task One Listening: Listening to the tape(1) Show the students the pictures and say something about the people in the picture.(2) Listen to the tape. Then fill in the blanks in lb,2a,2b. And check the answers with the whole class.Step IV Group work ( 2d).(1) Give students some minutes to reading the conversation in 2d by themselves . After a while, divide the whole class into two groups to practice the conversation.(2) Get the students to find out some key points in the conversation and discuss it in groups. (3) Ask two or three groups to present their answers.
