Lead-in Different countries have different customs, so in China, most of the time were supposed to shake hands, and Its polite to greet each other in China. But in other countries, maybe its not polite. Its important to know different customs. Today, were going to learn how to greet each other in different countries. Pay attention to be supposed to. It means you should shake hands. And we can also say youre expected to shake hands. II. Review some new words Show some pictures about some countries flags . Review these words: Japan, Korea, the United States, Mexico, Brazil.III. Play a game Play a game about countries. Students should stand up and speak out the countries name loudly. IV. Learn three ways of greeting Such as : kiss, bow, shake hands V . Teach the new structures1. Teach the new conversations A: What are people supposed to do when they meet for the first time? B: They are supposed to.2. Practice the conversation about how to ask and answer(pair work),And then let some students to show it. Students look at the dialogue on the blackboard to practice it . And thy should stand up and when they finish it , they can sit sown.3. Lets compete I prepare 6 pictures about six chairmen of six countries. I numbered it from 1-6. Students should choose one number to finish a conversation they have learned4. Students ask, and I answer A: Are people in .supposed to.? B: They are supposed to.5. Pair work A: What are people in supposed to do when they meet for the first time? B: They are supposed to. How about in ? A: In., they are supposed to. B: Are people in supposed to when they meet for the first time?A: Yes, . / No, . VI. Listening 1. Before listening, I ask some questions about the picture. 2. Talk about with your partner what will you write in the blanks. 3. Listen two times, first time student should write the key words . Second time student should check the answers. 4.
