Teach 1a and 1b to introduce new vocabulary and target language by listening and oral practice.1) Describe the pictures in 1a individually.2) Ask Ss to choose which one they would like to go. E.g I like to go the on the left because the music there would me tense.3) Look at the chart and speak out the sample answers in 1b. And then listen to the tape carefully.Fill in the blanks with proper words.2. Teach 1c to provide Ss with oral practice. Talking about their opinion on the restaurants in 1a.1) point out the sample conversation in the box,and ask Ss to read it.3. Tell Ss to talk about their opinion,and then make up their own conversations the information in 1b.Step 3 Practice1. Teach 2a and 2b to train Ss listening skill.1) Read the instructions and point out the four pictures to the class.2) Play the tape.Ss only listen at the first time. The second time,Ss number the pictures when they are listening.3) Ask Ss to read the statements in 2b,and know something about the conversation.4) Play the tape again for the Ss to listen and complete the statements.2. Teach 2c to provide Ss with oral practice.1) read the instruction.invite a pair of Ss to read it to the class.2) Ask Ss to work in pairs make up a conversation using the information from 2a and 2b.Step 4 ConsolidationTeach 2d to help Ss consolidate the target language through a conversation and teach them to express how things affect them.1) ask the Ss to read the conversation silently to get the main idea.2) Lead Ss to read it sentence by sentence,explain some language points at the same time.3) Practice role-playing the conversation in pairs.4) Make new conversations,then act them out in class.Step 5 SummaryMainly learned to talk about how things affect us through some lis
