Are you ready for class? S: .)2.Check the preview task. (Translate the words and phrases into English. )Step2 Lead-inBy watching a short video to lead in the topic.(What is the video about ? What kinds of pollutions do you know?)There are different forms of pollution, the most important ones being air, water and noise pollutionI. PresentationTask 1:Show the pictures of pollution and ask studentsT: What kinds of pollutions do you know?S:air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution.Task 2 New words study.Step 3 1a1.Here are some words related to different kinds of pollution. Write them in the box below. Lead the students to read the words in the box together. And then ,write those words in different volumes.2. pair work.(work in pairs to add more words.) Step 4 Listening practiceGive students two minutes to have a fast view of the sentence in the chart. Play the tape twice .The first time, students listen carefully and filling the blacks with the information they hear.The second time, students listen and check their answers. Correct mistakes if any.Finally, invite students to present their answers.Play the tape one more time for students to repeat. Call attention to pronunciation and intonation.Step 5 Pair work(1) Role-play the conversation in 1c.( Read the instruction together, and ask a pair of students to demonstrate the sample conversation.)(2) Make new conversations.(Invite several pairs to act out for the whole class.)Step6 Homework1.Copy the new words and remember them. 2.
