所用教科书书名新目标英语Go for it所教年级九年级所教册次、单元九年级全一册Unit7设计主题Unit 7 Where would you like to visit?Period 2 Reading and Writing设计人武汉市京汉学校 何 霜1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明本单元的话题是vacation, 该话题和学生的学习生活息息相关,容易激发学生学习英语的兴趣。通过单元学习,可以让学生搜集并了解一些世界名胜,并谈论喜欢去旅游的地方,以便更进一步运用形容词和定语从句。在上一单元运用定语从句谈论自己喜好的基础上,进一步学习和运用定语从句谈论所喜欢去旅游的地方。本节课在第一课时听说训练的基础上接着从听、说、读、写四个方面(重点是读写训练)训练学生该方面的实践能力,积累学习体验,树立学习英语的信心。词汇教学时,采用图片直观教学法。直观教学,易于接受。句型教学时,采用情景教学法。充分利用各种图片、实物创设情境,使学生自然融于对话的意境中去,从而将学习与活动相结合,以深化对知识的感悟、对英语听、说、读、写等全方面的培养。教学手段主要利用多媒体教学,增加课堂教学的容量让学生最大限度的去感知情景,创造学生想说的欲望的环境。第二是利用录音培养学生的听力能力。听力训练时,先指导学生感知问题,设置目标,再有目的的去听,根据学生听的情况,适当调整听的速度,确保听的效果。除此之外,还结合武汉本地实情,训练学生了解武汉地方特色和旅游景点,进一步提高综合应用英语的能力。2.教学背景分析教学内容分析:整个单元的内容是围绕vacations以生动、活泼的对话,以及个人的自我介绍展开的。而且这些旅游胜地都与我们的生活密切相关,通过本单元的学习,学生能够谈论自己想去的地方,并学会介绍旅游景点,同时了解世界各地的一些名胜古迹,从而能自觉地保护地球,保护环境。因此,本节课国家和旅游景点的介绍,不仅在本单元占据主导地位,也是训练学生口语表达能力的良好素材。学生情况分析:承接第六单元学习定语从句,本单元继续学习用定语从句表达旅游景点,学生兴趣较浓厚,较易引导。注重学生的口语实践和学习体验,不求面面俱到,但求积极参与,独特体验。也可以借此提高学生学习英语的兴趣。根据实际学情,从自主先学、课堂交流、当堂展示、当堂检测、本课小结、课后作业六个活动环节环环相扣,逐步训练。3.教学目标分析1、 知识目标:(1)掌握本课时的目标词汇和目标语言。(2)学习和运用定语从句谈论所喜欢去旅游的地方。2、 能力目标:(1)听 能听懂独白中介绍的旅游景点的特征。l (2)说 能用目标语言介绍旅游景点。l (3) 读 能读懂介绍的旅游景点。(4) 写 能用目标语言描述旅游景点。3、 学习策略:听懂关键信息,角色扮演。4、 情感目标:了解世界各地的一些名胜古迹,从而能自觉地保护地球,保护环境。4.教学重点、难点分析 教学重点:1、重点词汇:touristy adj.;spotlight n.;consider v.;sight n.;including prep.;tower n.;Eiffel Tower;cathedral n.;Notre Dame Cathedral;church n.;convenient adj.; underground adj.;general n.;in general;wine n.;translate v.;pack v.;light adj.2、重点句型:For your next vacation, why not consider visiting Paris?Paris is the capital of France, and is one of the liveliest cities in Europe.Traveling around Paris by taxi can cost a lot of money.So unless you speak French yourself, its best to travel with someone who can translate things for you. 教学难点:学习和运用定语从句谈论所喜欢去旅游的地方。5.教学过程设计自主先学 Pre-taskTask 1 New words and expressionsTask 2 Reading and practice (3a,3b P54)1.
