Its much too small for him.(2) Ability aims:Students learn to make inferences using the words must, might, could and cant.Train students listening and speaking skills.Train students ability to deduce.(3) Moral aims: When you are on a picnic, remember to bring litter back to keep our environment clean and tidy.Not to pocket the money one has picked up. Listening (1b)Focus students attention to the chart.Play the recording twice. Pair workRead the sample conversation to the class.Get students to work in pairs. Then ask students to make conversations using the information in the chart in 1b.Get different pairs of students to present their conversations to the class.Step 6. Listening (2a)Read the instructions to the class.Play the recording and ask the students to finish the task.Get a student to give his/her answers, then check them.Step 7. Listening (2b)Call students attention to the chart. Point to the box that contains the explanations of how to use the words must, might, could and cant. Read the explanations to the class.Then play the recording again and ask the students to finish the sentences on the left.Check the answers together.Have a look at the tapescript.Step 8.
