Unit 5 What are the shirts made of?Period 1(1a-1c) 教学设计一、设计思路 1、指导思想: 以新课标要求为指导,根据教材内容和学生认知特点,采用任务型教学法来设计本节课教学内容。2.教学目标(1)学生识记本课表日常用品的词汇:chopsticks ,window, coin steel, fork ,blouse 等。(2)学生能识记表原材料的词汇:wood, gold, silver, paper, cotton, silk, glass等。(3)学生初步掌握被动语态的句式结构:A: What is the model plane made of? B: Its made of wood and glass.A: Where was it made? B: It was made in China.(4)学生能够树立生态环保意识,简单了解各国制品。3.教学重难点(1)重点:学会使用被动语态表达被动关系。(2)难点:正确使用被动语态结构,正确使用动词的过去分词。二、教学准备:本节课要用的日常用品、 录音机、多媒体课件。三、教学过程【新课导入】展示课件提问问题导入新课Step 1 Lead-in1. The teacher shows a scarf and ask the students to say what it is.2. Then ask them to say what the scarf is made of and where it was made. Then show some shirts and ask what they are made of.Write the title of this unit on the blackboard.【新知呈现】通过多媒体课件学习生词与句型Step 2 Presentation1. Students may answer the question like this: They are made of silk/cotton.2. Use the other objects to learn the other new words:chopsticks, window, coin, stamp, fork, blouse, wood, gold, silver ,paper, silk, cotton, glass.3.Write the structure on the blackboard:Structures: A: What is the model plane made of? B: It is made of used wood .A: Where was it made? B: It was made in China.4. Ask the students to follow the example to work in pairs to make similar conversations. 【新知新学】Step 3 Work on 1a1. Point out the things in 1a. Ask the students to match them with the materials.2. Remind them that more than one answer is possible.3. Check the answers by asking students to make sentences about each thing.Step 4 Work on 1b1. Have some students to read each column in the chart.Help them understand what they are supposed to do.2. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.3. Play the recording again. Match the three columns with each other. Check the answers.4. Play the recording a third time. Ask students to listen and repeat.Step 5 Work on 1c1. Point to the chart in 1b. Ask students to make conversations using the information in 1b.2.
