人教版九年级英语Unit 10 Youre supposed to shake hands(SectionA1a-1c)教学背景分析一、学习内容分析本课重点学习一些常见国家的英文表达,以及该国在初次见面时的行为与语言, 该话题能激起学生的好奇心,调动学生学习英语的积极性。本单元围绕“customs”这个话题展开教学活动,让学生了解各国的文化习俗、社交礼仪, 使学生感受民族文化的魅力。本节课有听力练习也有口语练习。内容相对来说较简单,重点帮助学生练习“be supposed to do” 的用法,在不断的练习中达到掌握以及熟练运用的目的。本单元难点是学生缺乏相应的文化背景,对不同国家人们初次见面的礼仪易混淆。二、学情分析全校九年级共有8个班,我所教班级为两个优班。九年级的学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,能进行简单的听说读写练习,大部分学生的成绩比较优异,但一小部分分化比较严重。他们对英美国家的风俗习惯和风土人情都有一些简单的理解,但所知的还是甚少三、 教学方式本课主要是一节听说课,根据英语课程标准及英语教学大纲的要求,在本节课的教学过程中,采用“小组合作“以及“任务型”和“情景”的教学途径,借助多媒体,增强趣味性和直观性,增大课堂容量,提高课堂效率,面向全体同学,在听说过程中帮助学生掌握知识、发展能力、形成正确的价值观。1. 任务型教学法:根据新课程理念,结合本课时的教学内容,开展任务型教学活动.设置多个与课文相关问题,利用略读和详读,吸引和组织他们积极参与课堂活动,学习和应用英语完成学习任务2. 情景教学法:英语教学离不开设置合理有效的教学情景.通过设问,启发,诱导等方式.结合图片 ,网络资源等多种渠道,设置真实或模拟的情景.引发学生去思考,尝试新知,启发思维,培养能力,最终提高应用英语解决实际问题的能力.四、教学准备准备本课时教材中所涉及的不同国家见面礼节,拜访礼仪的图片或教学幻灯片、音箱、 U盘、课本、多媒体设备;课后巩固练习的幻灯片、多媒体等。教学目标和重难点设计一、Knowledge objects:1、Can use “be supposed to do” to talk about the manners in different countries when they meet for the first time.2、The key words:shake hands , bow , kiss ,custom 3、Sentence structure: A: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time? B: We are supposed to shake hands/bow/kiss.Ability objects:can use “be supposed to do something , should do something “,二、Important points:1. The customs of some countries.2. Tell what you are supposed to do in different situations.Difficult points:Can use “be supposed to” correctly.三、Emotional aims:Know the cultures of different countries,respect the cultures develop the good behavior habit.Teaching process: Step1 Leading in(2min)T: How many continents do you know? And what are they? As we all know, the seven continents are made up of many countries. Who can list some countries in English?S: China、England 、Japan 、Australia 、the United statesT: D you know their customs? What are they supposed to do when they meet for the first time?S: Shake hands 、bow、kiss设计意图:通过提问的方式导入新课,提起学生的兴趣。Step2: New words (2min)Read the words after listeningRead again after the teacher设计意图:先听录音再领读学习新词汇,让学生准确掌握单词的读音。Step3: Learn the countries (2min)1.Show the flags of Brazil 、Mexico 、Korea、 Japan、 the United statesLearn the countries2. Game: tell the countriesShow each flag quickly on the screen, let students say which country you can see.设计意图: 学习本单元涉及的国家名称,通过快速说出国家名称的游戏,让学生乐于参与,快速记住本单元的国家名称。Step4 Brain storm (1a)(1min)Different countries have different customs. What do people in these countries do when they meet for the first time? Let students discuss in groups. Match the countries with the customs. Fill in the following form in 1a.
