You are supposed to shake hands. be supposed to do 应该被期望做,当句子的主语是人时,它可以用来表示劝告,建议,义务,责任等,意思是 “to be expected to do sth., or to have to do sth.”e.g. Youre supposed to ask the teacher if you want to leave the classroom. 如果你要离开教室,应该先问问老师。 We are not to supposed to play football on Sunday. 不准我们在星期日踢足球。2. Thats how people in Japan are expected to greet each other. greet =to welcome or say “hello” 动词 “问候,打招呼” e.g. He greeted her by saying “good morning”. 他向她打招呼说 “早上好”。 She greeted me with a friendly smile. 她向我微笑致意。 Step11语言点探究1.for the first time Eg.当我第一次看到他时,他正在看书._.拓展:1)第二次_ 2)有关time的短语_. 2.shake的用法:过去式shook过去分词shaken现在分词_握手_ 和某人握手:shake hands with sb /shake ones hands 或shake sb by the hands.3.bow的用法:向某人鞠躬/低头 可表示为:bow to sb. Eg. 不要向失败(failure)低头_4. 辩一辨:be supposed to 与shouldbe supposed是suppose一词的 语态结构。后接动词不定式时,含义相当于should后接不定式。Should后面的不定式要省略不定式符号to,即动词 ,且属 于被动语态形式,使用起来较严肃和正式;而be supposed to do sth的使用较随便,建议性强。否定式为be not supposed to do sth. 如:You are not supposed to shake hands.= You shouldnt shake hands.你不应与之握手。 Answer the questions and say out their ways.Add more answers by themselves.Talk about these famous peoples differences.ork follow the teacher.Look and sayListen to the tape only.Students listen and fill in the blanks.Look at the picture ,Have a conversation with a partner about people in the picture.
