Unit12 Life is full of the expected Reading (Section B )雷州市乌石中学 何葵丽一.教学内容分析 本单元主要讨论关于“unexpected events”这一话题。Section A的中心话题是讲述过去发生过的意想不到的事情。涉及两个语言项目：了解过去完成时，运用一般过去时。Section A的教学重点是让学生能够用适当的时态叙述过去发生过的意想不到的事情。Section B依然围绕“unexpected events”这一话题展开，内容从学生的生活琐事、意外事故过渡到生活中出其不意的玩笑，特别是愚人节发生的难以预料的事情，是对Section A 所学知识的巩固、拓展与提升。Section B的教学重点依旧是掌握过去完成时，学习难点是能够在笔头输出中熟练运用这种时态。21教育网 本节课是阅读教学部分，是一篇叙事性文章，讲述了四个与开玩笑有关的故事，前三个均发生在愚人节，第四个与愚人节没关系，却是闻名于世的著名恶作剧之一，阅读前需要利用学生本身已有的知识来帮助他们，引导学生猜测文本主旨大意。2二教学对象分析 进入初三以后，学生在英语学习方面呈两极分化状态，大部分学生态度积极，求知欲强，部分学生缺乏兴趣及自信心，课堂学习上一直处于被动，参与课堂的积极性不够，很难启发他们能够用英语表达他们的想法。同时很多学生的阅读能力差，基础薄弱，所以本节课，我利用视频和图片等媒介，希望能够把每个学生调动起来，使他们参与到课堂中去。三.教学目标分析（一） 语言知识目标： 1.能掌握以下单词短语：trick, announce, spaghetti, hoax, sell out, discovery, cancel, officer, disappear, get married. 2. 能掌握过去完成时的结构（二）技能目标 熟练掌握阅读技巧： 1. Skimming(略读)：快速阅读，通过首句找出段落大意，并理解全文. 2.
