新目标九年级英语上Unit9 I like music that I can dance to.第一课时教学设计一、教材分析:本课是九年级第九单元第一课时,本单元以music(音乐)为中心话题,让学生学会用定语从句谈论自己所喜爱或偏好的艺术,学习表达自己的爱好。从结构内容上说,定语从句是初中阶段必需了解的一种句法结构。本单元将通过一系列的练习(句型结构练习、听力练习、自我检测)来达到学习目的,完成学习任务。本课时所进行的是基本的句型结构和部分听力练习,是整个单元学习的双基基本和基础。二、教学目标教学目标Language goals 语言目标Words and expressionsprefer,lyric,dance to, remind of ,sing along with Key sentences重点句子What kind of music do you like?I like music that I can dance to.I like music that has great lyrics.I like music that I can sing along with.I like music that isnt too loud.Ability goals 能力目标Enable the Ss to talk about different kinds of music and their own preferences.Emotion and attitude goals 情感和态度目标Enable the Ss to enjoy different kinds of music.Strategy goals策略目标能根据篇章的主旨大意找出相关的细节信息。Culture awareness goals 文化意识目标了解各种音乐形式和电影类型,感悟和分享音乐和电影带来的情感体验。过程与方法在听说读写的教学环节中,采用看图说话和编造对话方式进行授课。情感态度与价值观让学生学会用定语从句谈论自己所喜爱或偏好的艺术,学习表达自己的爱好。Teaching important points 教学重点Enable the Ss to talk about different kinds of music and their own preferences三、教学方法围绕I like music that I can dance to.这一话题展开思维(1a)、听力(1b)、 口语 (1c) 训练进行授课,最终完成本课时的教学任务。采用情景教学、看图说话、小组对话以及听力训练的方法进行教学。四、学情分析虽然学生在以前所学的内容当中已经有所接触定语从句,但仅仅是了解而已,对于定语从句地系统地掌握需要一定地强化,因此,本课地目标语言就变为本课地难点了。在解决这一问题上,让学生通过“情景教学、看图说话、小组对话以及听力训练”的方法、经过反复练习的方法,让其达到掌握并运用的目的。五、教学过程教学步骤教师活动学生活动设计意图情境引学Step 1Warming upGreet the class. Play the beautiful, lyric song “If you are happy.”Greet the teacher.Listen to the music and join the singing.通过问候语和视频音乐,创设和谐亲切的开课氛围。Step 2Leading-inDiscuss: Do you like music? What kind of music do you know? Discuss the names of different kinds of music.学生通过讨论,彼此交流课前搜集的不同种类音乐的名称,可以迅速融入音乐和英语结合的氛围。自主探究Step 1 Task oneGive Ss some time to do some exercise.Try to change the sentences into Attributive Clause according to the examples.学生进行实践练习,更进一步学习运用定语从句。Step 2while-task1. prefer to do sth.2.sing along with3.dance to Let Ss read 1a.Play the recording, explain the sentences:1.I prefer music that has great lyrics=I like music that has great lyrics better.2.lyrics:常用复数.Ask Ss to practice in pairs then make up a short passage using the four sentences on the screen.Look at the picture and read the sentences . Then practice the conversation in pairs. Then make up a short passage using the four sentences.多媒体出示学生通过同桌练习的方式熟悉新句型,之后把所练句型以口头形式连成一篇小短文,达到了讲练结合的效果。Step 3: Listening 1b.Play the recording. And then check the answers.Listen and fill in the blanks.Step 4 Task two 1.Group work 2.Pair work1c. Everyone should practice using the sentence patternthe Attributive Clause.First, a dialogue between the teacher and some Ss: What kind of music do you like?I like music that I can sing along with.What about you?I prefer music that has great lyrics.Talk about the music you like. You can make conversations about music in any ways you like.Make a conversation with each other. 结对练习以两个人为活动单位,既能使他们乐于去表达,又可保证人人有说和做的机会。使小组成员互相合作,培养其集体观念和写作意识。Everyone should practice using the sentence patternthe Attributive clause.达标评价Step 1Pre-taskAsk Ss to think of names of bands as many as possible.Think: What kind of musicians do you like?Say names of bands as many as possible.Try to answer the question using attributives.为下一节听力做好热身活动,并初步尝试定语从句的应用。Step 2Listening.2a、2b.Ask the students to listen to the recording between Carmen and Xu Fei.(2a,2b)First, ask a student to read the sentences in 2a.Play the tape. Then check the answers.Listen and complete 2a and 2b.听是不可缺少的教学活动。通过听力练习锻炼学生的听力能力,交流提高也就是听力的提高。Step3 Role-play 2dAsk questions.Answer the questions.Role-play the conversation in 2d.让学生带着问题去读。再去表演对话。拓展延伸Step1PracticeMake conversations.Practice in pairs.分组进行对话,锻炼学生的口语表达能力。Step 2SummaryUseful expressions.Relative clause Share in class.着重培养学生的总结归纳能力。Homework:用定语从句完成下列句子.1.
