The topic is close to us, and students will be interested in it. The language points are not too hard to acquire, but there are still many points to learn. In this way, this requires the teacher to take more time to think about the way to operate the whole class in an effective way. 2. Analysis of students The students of Grade Three are English beginners. They cant speak English fluently. They need someone lead them to study English. They can be attracted by pictures, songs and videos. They are interested in games and activities. The teacher should consider different characteristics of students in different ages. The first thing that teacher should do is to cultivate students interests in English. Teaching AimsKnowledge Aims1. Be able to understand, say, read and write the words: apple, banana, orange, pear.2. Be able to understand and use the sentences: Do you like.? Yes, I do./ No, I dont.Ability Aims1. To improve students listening and speaking skills.2. Be able to recognize fruits in English.Emotional Aims1. Help students develop and improve their cooperative attitudes.2. S: Im fine, thank you. And you?T: Im fine, too. Do you like music?.2. Listen to a song.(设计目的:通过简单的对话交流,拉近与学生的距离。)Step 2. Leading-inEnjoy a song about apples(设计目的:通过歌曲导入新单词教授,充分调动了课堂气氛。)Step 3. PresentationAfter the song,show an apple picture1.apple(Read it one by one, and then spell it.)T: There are so many apples here.(Practice the words: apples)Apples contain lots of vitamins. They are good for our health.I like apples. Do you like apples?(设计目的:学生通入歌曲视频了解苹果,自然导入苹果apple的教学。)2. Do you like apples? Yes,I do.Tell a story: The boys name is Jie. He doesnt like rice, vegetables and fruit. He just likes cakes. Because he eats too much cake, he becomes fatter and fatter. One day, he found he became a big cake. Jie was scared. Many people and animals chased him. Now he runs to a fruit garden. Follow Jie, lets see what will happen in the garden.T: Listen! Who is singing?Yes,its a bird.The bird is talking with Jie.Bird: Do you like apples?Play the tapeJie: Yes, I do.(Practice the sentence two by two.)Let students try to ask, “Do you like apples?” Then practice the sentence.设计目的:设置一个故事情境连串整个新授环节,孩子能够在真实语境中理解句子含义。句子操练形式多样,有集体读,单个读,小组读.每个单词学习之后都运用本课重点句型进行练习,真正做到词不离句,句不离景。3. Who is standing on the tree?S: monkey.Jie: Do you like apples?Monkey: No, I dont.Then practice the sentence.After that, practice the dialogue.4. bananaT: The monkey doesnt like apples, what does the monkey like? (Show a picture of banana.)T: Yes, its a banana.Practice the word.Then show the dialogue to practice.5. Orange (Jie comes into orange garden.)Guess game: What it is? (Show a picture).T: Guess what it is!S: Orange.T: Its an orange. They are oranges.Practice the word in sentence.6. Grape (Jie comes into grape garden.)Jie comes here and picks up some grapes. Introduce grape.Practice the new word in sentences.7. Pear (Jie comes into pear garden.)Jie is resting under the pear tree, a pear drops from the tree.Practice the new word in sentences.T: After eating some fruit, Jie becomes thinner and thinner. Now he likes fruit very much. Fruit is good for our health. We should eat some fruit every day.(设计目的:故事结尾让学生明白水果对身体的重要性,落实了情感教学目标。)8. Listen to the tape. Listen to the authentic version.Step 4. Consolidation and Extension1. Game 1: Cut the fruit(设计目的:通过切水果游戏,复习所学单词。该游戏学生比较熟悉,能够激起学生参与热情,活跃课堂氛围。)2. Game 2: Apple down(设计目的:通过Apple down游戏,进一步巩固所学单词。该游戏能够激起学生参与热情,并检查学生个体的掌握情况,为下面的chant及对话操练做铺垫。)3.Lets chant(设计目的:在掌握单词的基础上,进行chant操练,让学生在韵律中进行语言学习。)4. ChantDo you like apples? Do you like oranges?Yes, I do. Yes, I do.Do you like bananas? Do you like pears?No, I dont. No, I dont.(设计目的:在掌握单词和句型的基础上,进行句型chant操练,让学生在韵律中进一步巩固所学句型。)5.Practice the sentences by the game: Round the turntable.(设计目的:在掌握单词的基础上,进行对话操练,在游戏中进行语言输出。)6.Sing a song (An apple a day keeps doctor away)(设计目的:让学生明白水果对身体的重要性,进一步
