PEP小学英语三年级下册Unit 3 At the zoo B Start to read 【教学目标】1. 复习本单元所学的主要单词和句型,能在实际情景中灵活运用:Loot at the elephant.Its big.It has a long nose2. 通过练习和绘画描述动物、人物、文具的特征。3. 教育学生爱护动物,增强学生保护动物的意识。【学情分析】他们已经是三年级的学生,通过半年地学习,他们已经对英语有了初步认识,但由于英语知识积累少,技能训练有限,学习英语仍有相当多的困难。单词的理解和认读对他们来说有一定的困难,但生动活泼的情景和活动则能很好地激发他们的学习兴趣。因此,在教学过程中,本人注意充分利用学生已有的单词基础,将难点、重点巧妙化解于生动的情景教学、游戏教学当中,所以本课出现了许多活动,从而激发学生的兴趣,培养学生的模仿能力及合作能力,从中体验成功的喜悦。【重点难点】重点:能在实际情景中灵活运用本单元所学的主要单词和句型。难点:1.灵活运用所学的主要单词和句型描述动物、人物、文具的特征。2.mouse的发音。【教学准备】课件、黑板贴、长尺、学生画的怪兽。【教学过程】一、 Warm-up1、 Greeting.T: Hello,everyboby.Ss: Hello,teacher.T: Welcome back to school.Nice to see you again.Ss: Nice to see you,too.T:How are you?Ss:Fine,thank you.T:How are you?S1.S1:Im fine,thanks. T:How are you?S2. S2:Im fine,thank you.And you.?T: Im fine,too.Thanks.2.播放B.Lets do歌谣,师生一起唱。(设计意图)调动学生的积极性,活跃课堂气氛。二、 Preview全班学生齐读Can you read?部分的单词。fat-thin small-big short-tall long-short(设计意图)让学生用食指书空升调和降调符号,能更好、更容易地朗读本单元重要的四组反义词。设计这个环节既能复习本单元重要单词,又能为下面重要句型的练习做好铺垫。三、 Presentation1、课件出示图片T:Do you like animals?Ss:Yes.T:I like animals,too.Were going to build a small zoo in our school.So today we shall talk about some animals.Can you help me?Ss: Yes. T: How nice.2.依次出示课件图片:长颈鹿、猴子、大象。T: No.1 Its tall. It has a long neck.What is it?Who can tell me?S1:Giraffe.S2:A giraffe.T:Lets check it out.Very good.Its a giraffe.Read it together.T& Ss: Its tall. Introduce your things to us.教师请多位同学介绍自己的物品。教师及时评价和纠正。5、T:Look.This is my mouster.Its fat.It has three eyes.It has a big mouth.Take out your mousters that you have drawn and introduce it to your parter.Then the teacher asks some students to come to the blackboard and introduce it教师及时评价和纠正,并把学生的图画作品贴在黑板上。(设计意图)希望学生在乐中学,学中乐,在有限的时间里,掌握更多的知识。6、出示课件图片T:It will be our zoo.Do you like it?Ss:Yes.T:Great!6、继续出示课件图片T:What should not do at the zoo?Lets read together.(设计意图)教育学生爱护动物,增强学生保护动物的意识。五、HomeworkDescribe some animals to your parents.六、Blackboard writingIts _.It has _.【教学反思】本节课的构思:在at the zoo的教学过程中,我首先用Lets do轻松和快乐的节奏调动学生学习英语的积极性,然后用要建造一个小的动物园,需要学生帮忙的情境,练习学生用英语描述长颈鹿、猴子和大象等的外型特征,引起学生学习本课时的兴趣。本节课的成功之处:1、把握住小学生好动的性格,在课堂教学中尽可能多的让学生通过游戏方式在乐中学,学中乐,这极大地提高了学生的学习英语的积极性,他们争先恐后地参与到学习和游戏当中,使课堂气氛热烈而和谐。2、借用资源,在练习本单元的重点句型和单词时,用课件展示学生生活中熟悉的动物、人物和工具图片, 画面引人入胜,
