He/She is.”难 点(1) Students can grasp the pronunciation of the new words.(2) Students can use the new structure to communicate with their partner in English.教 具PPT, Blackboard, Pictures, the Word Cards教学过程 Step I: Warming up(1) Greeting.(2) Sing a song about family. Step II: Presentation (1) Show a picture of a famous cartoon and ask students who are they. (2) Show the photos of father and mother, and teach them the pronunciation of “father” and “mother”. (3) Play a game. I point “father” and students speak “dad” , I point “dad” and students speak “ father”. I point “ mother” and students speak “mum”. I point “mum” and students speak “mother” as soon as possible. (4) Take out word cards and teach them “man”, “woman”. Ask girls to speak “woman”, boys to speak “man”. (5) Play a game. Ask two students to come in front. I speak “man” and “woman”, but no sounds. Ask students to guess and speak loudly. The two students point “father” when they listen “man” and point “mother” when they listen “woman”. (6) Show a picture and ask students to guess “Whos that man/woman? He/She is my father/mother.” Step III: Practise(1) Role play: Four students in a group to make a conversation. Use the following structure. “Who is that man/ woman? He/ She is my father/mother.”Step IV: Homework(1) Recite the new words.(2) To practise the conversation with y
