Then show the picture of a zoo.And tell the children:Today,lets go to the zoo . Well see more animals at the zoo. Purpose of my designing: The beginning can arouse the studentsinterest of study. Educate the students to follow the rules at the zoo.（The students will receive moral education while they are learning English .）Step2PresentationTo visit the zoo as the main line to learn thenew knowledge of this lesson.1Ill use CAI to show some pictures for the students toreview some words about animals.Its a brain storm.Then show a new friend to learn the word giraffe.2 Lets learn:Show the pictures to teach the new words tall and short.Emphasizethe pronunciation of them.After reading them ,lead the students to describe the giraffes with the sentences:Look at that_.Its_.Then perform the actions Be tall,be tall,be tall, tall,tall.
