Unit 3 B lets talk一、教学目标:知识与能力:1. 能够听、说、读单词:has, tail, big, small, long.2.能够听、说、读句型:It has a long nose. It has a short tail.等句型,并能够在具体的语境中灵活运用。过程与方法:创设情景,小组合作学习中巩固运用句型和单词。情感、态度、价值观:爱护动物,懂得动物是世界不可缺少的一部分。二、教学重难点1、听懂、会说句型It has.及在实际生活中的运用。2、在实际情景中,运用形容词:small, big, long, short,tall和句型,描述动物的特征,灵活拓展、运用语言。三、教学过程Step1: Warm-up1. Lets chant Look at the CD-ROM and chant the rhyme after it together. Be fat. Be fat. Be fat, fat, fat.Be thin. Be thin. Be thin,thin ,thin.2. Revise the adj: tall/short, fat/thin, big/small, long/short.The teacher does and the Ss say, then the Ss do and say, Last, Ss look at the Bb, read out the words again. 3. Lets sayGet the Ss take out their pictures(They drew before),Let the class describe their favourite animals. (e.g. Look at my cat. Its so fat.)Step2: Presentation1. T: Our school will set up a small zoo. Today please talk about the animal features and choose 4 animals for the zoo.2. Lets learnThe teacher teaches: “long-short, big-small”using the real objects. 3. Lets say(1)Show the pictures about the elephants, say:Come here, children. Look at vedio, look and watch, The teacher asks: Whats this ? Do you know? The Ss may say: Its an elephant. Then the teacher says: Yes, its an elephant. It has a long nose.(Follow me. Then one by one.)(2)Then learn and say: It has a short tail.(3)Whats the elephant like? Can you describe? Yes. Its so big. It has a long nose. It has a short tail. It has small eyes and big ears.(4)Now, lets guess. I have an animal. It is black and white. It has two big black eyes. It has two small ears. It has a big white body.It is cute. What is it? (Ss guess: panda. Yes.).(5)Leading-in: Open your books. Turn to P27. Look at PartB. Today Miss White is leading her students to the zoo. Who are they? What are they talking about the elephant? What do they say? Lets see together.(6)Listen and answer.Look at the CD-ROM and try to answer the questions.1 What does Chen Jie say about the elephant? It has a long nose. 2 What does John say about the elephant? It has a short tail. 3 What does Mike say about the elephant? It has small eyes and big ears. 4 What does Miss White say about the elephant? Come here, children. Then explain the meaning and learn to say.e.g. The teacher say: Come here, children. And the Ss do and say.(7)Listen and readListen again and repeat after the recorder.Step3: practice1.Get the Ss read out in pairs. Then act out in groups without the books.Last, read together, and recite together.2.Interesting PracticeLets chant: Lets chant the rhyme after it together. ( Long, long ,long . It has along nose.Short, short, short. It has a short tail.Big, big, big. It has big ears. etc.)Step4: Emotional education Watch TV and tell the Ss: Dont feed the animals at the zoo.Step5:Limited operation Ss do it by themselves, then check in groups, last check by the teacher.
