人教版八年级英语下册Unit 2 Ill help to clean up the city parks.Section B 3a-Self Check(写作课) 教学设计一、 教材分析:这是一堂写作课,本单元主要通过“谈论志愿服务与慈善活动”这一话题展开教学,让学生在熟悉身边的志愿活动同时,要求学生结合自身特点,思考并尝试参与到志愿者行动中,在此基础上,完成一篇成为志愿者的自荐信,以训练学生利用信息构建自己的语篇,并发展学生书面表达的能力。二、 教学目标:知识目标:1. 熟练掌握以下:词汇:interest, sir, madam词组:be interested in, volunteer as/to, be good at, be strong in, in ones free time, help out as a volunteer2. 口笔头掌握以下句型:I want to help out as a volunteer in your old peoples home. He was unhappy, so everyone was trying to cheer him up.技能目标:通过对相关材料写作方法的分析和指导,完成本节的写作任务。情感目标:通过做不同的志愿者工作,增强学生对社会的责任感。德育目标:培养学生形成关心他人、帮助弱小的高贵品质,增强其社会责任感。三、教学过程:Step one: Lead in:Watch a video and answer the following two questions.1. Where did they volunteer to work? 2. What did they do there?Add up another two questions: What do you usually do in your free time? Would you like to volunteer to do anything for others? 【设计意图】通过观看视频,自然而然引出本课时的话题志愿服务活动,同时,通过回答问题,让学生提前进入备写状态,脑海中明确要从事类似的志愿活动,再由询问学生是否喜欢志愿为他人做些什么,引出本课时的学习。Step two: Sow the learning aims.知识目标:1. 熟练掌握以下:词汇:interest, sir, madam词组:be interested in, volunteer as/to, be good at, be strong in, in ones free time,help out as a volunteer2. 口笔头掌握以下句型:I want to help out as a volunteer in your old peoples home. Look at several pictures and give some activities related to the volunteer work.2. List some things that you can volunteer to do for others.3. Pairwork: A: Which volunteer job would you like to do? B: Id like to (help)【设计意图】做好对学生写作任务的知识储备工作,遵循由短语到句子再到对话的循序渐进的学习与准备思路,便于学生更好的理解与后续任务的顺利完成。Step four: Grammar presentation.1. Show the basic phrasal verbs.(1) 动词+副词 clean up打扫 give out分发(2) 动词+介词 look after照顾,照料 take after(外貌或行为)像(3) 动词+副词+介词 come up with提出,想出 run out of用光,耗尽(4) 动词+名词+介词 take care of照顾,照料 make fun of取笑2. Do some exercises to check the students grasping state.【设计意图】动词短语的再现,是要为学生写作任务做好必要的知识储备,再通过练习题巩固,是为了让学生掌握动词短语如何来与名词或代词搭配,同时,也是在为Self Check活动二打好知识储备基础。Step five: Writing.1. Look at several pictures to show some volunteer work.2. Discussion:3a. Look at the three kinds of volunteer work. Can you add more? What would you like to do? Discuss it with a partner.3. Groupwork:Discuss the five questions in groups.1)Which volunteer job would you like?2)What are your hobbies ? 3)How can these hobbies help you to do the job? 4)Why do you want to do the volunteer job?5)When are you free to do the job?4. Showtime: (1) Show your discussion results. Let two pairs of students to show their discussion results.(2) Show the teachers answers to the five questions.5.Give students the writing task: 3b. Write a letter or an e-mail to the place you want to volunteer at.6. Writing progressive time.Step 1: Show the writing mind map.Step 2: Show the structure of this writing task.Step 3: Show the writing steps and some main patterns.Step 4: Writing time.Step 5: Pair-correction time. Step 6: Showtime: (1) Correct the mistakes in one students composition that was written on the blackboard.(2) Share two other students compositions and correct their mistakes in oral.【设计意图】写作任务的完成同样遵循循序渐进的原则,首先在联系志愿者工作的基础上,明确个人希望参与的志愿服务活动,再在写作思维导图、结构、步骤与主要句型的指导下,完成写作任务,通过展示优秀作文及纠错活动,既培养了学生相互学习的思想,同时又巩固了学生对所学知识的掌握情况。Step six: Emotion education.Tell the students that being a volunteer is great and encourage the to volunteer to do something for others.【设计意图】鼓励学生参与志愿者服务活动,对学生进行情感教育,培养学生形成关心他人、帮助弱小的高贵品质,增强其
