Research on Team work and Team BuildingAbstractv :Nowadays, team work and team building is more and more important fo us during our study and dailly activities. Team building skills are critical for your effectiveness as a students, a manager or a entrepreneur. And even if you are not in a management or leadership role yet, better understanding of team work can make you more effective and give you an extra edge in your dailly lives.Keywords: Team work ; Team Building ; effective Prodrome: Today, with the rapid develepment of society, its said that our competitions are more and more fierce, but it s also hard for us to deal with all the problems by oursleves.We need to have some partners to be with us when we suffer from problem. They can help us,and we can solve the problems together. However, although we have some partners, its also difficult for us to solve the problems efficiently if we havent got any team work. This thesis is aiming to point out the importang of team work and to make peaple to have a sense of team building.1. Something about team work and team building1.1. The meaning of team work and team building.Team work and team building is a proven approach for helping people become respectful competitors, cooperative team members, and community leaders.1.2 . The features of Team work and team building Team work and team building do not build in a day, its a long way construction. A team is make up by some people who are have different characteristics and the most important is that different people have different abilities these who can work together with their gifts. And make the work effective.2. Why is team work and team building so important to us?2.1 Why is team work and team building so important to us, its because that team work is a couple of people meet togeher to deal with a poject, instead of a person working on the poject .Its said that team work can make work become more and more less complex with all the contribution from all the praties proved.2.2 In particular, the team building activities can focus on improving communication, learning to take advantage of individual differences, learning to cope with change, learning to be supportive and appreciative, learning to put together creative solutions to nonstandard problems, or something else that the company considers important for its specific team. Its important to our daily lives and works.3. Team work and team building success3.1. A team building success is when your team can accomplish something much bigger and work more effectively than a group of the same individuals working on their own. You have a strong synergy of individual contributions. But there are two critical factors in building a high performance team. 3.2. The first factor in team effectiveness is the diversity of skills and personalities. When people use their strengths in full, but can compensate for each others weaknesses. When different personality types balance and complement each other.3.3. The other critical element of team work success is that all the team efforts are directed towards the same clear goals, the team goals. This relies heavily on good communication in the team and the harmony in member relationships.4. The phenomenon and problem of todays team working and building.4.1. Today, many of us know about team working and team building, but seldom of us can use team working and team building effectively, or it can also be said that seldom of us know how to use team working and team building, or seldom of us have the skills and personalities of team working and team building. 4.2. Team work and Team building exercises seem to work better for some teams than for others. Some companies, organization or people believe in them, but some dont. There are also differences in opinions on the exact nature of the specific benefits of such events. Its said that there are some people who dont care about team working and team building. Yet, they still stay as an irreplaceable tool in the todays team work and team building toolbox if people understand the important of team work and team building. 5. The analysis of the problem of team working and team building,5.1. Some people know team work and team building, but they know little about how to us it as well as they seldom use it. It mainly because that most of these people seldom have the opportunity to use team work and team building skills, whats more, most of these people can not use team work and team building effectively, they work as a individual, not a team, even they work like a team, but they can not work as effective team, they are team mumbers, but most of them do what they think its ture, not basic on the dession by the team. 5.2. Besides, most many of us think team work and team building is effective and good for us, they consider that team work and team building work little for them. Most of these people think that team work and team building is not so important in they daily lives, and they care little about it, Whats more, there is not so much circumstance for they to use it, most of them seldom meet it in their work and lives. Its also said that they have little consciousness about team work and team building, they just care about the work that they handle, but not inclouding the work that the team they stay in, they care litlle about the work that other team mumbers handle. 6. The strategies to make up team work and team building 6.1. In real life, team work and team building success rarely happens by itself, without focused team building efforts and activities. There is simply too much space for problems. For example, different personalities, instead of complementing and balancing each other, may build up conflicts. Or even worse, some people with similar personalities may start fighting for authority and dominance in certain areas of expertise. Even if the team goals are clear and accepted by everyone, there may be no team commitment to the group goals or no consensus on the means of achieving those goals: individuals in the team just follow their personal opinions and move in conflicting directions. There may be a lack of trust and openness that blocks the critical communication and leads to loss of coordination in the individual efforts. And on and on. This is why every team needs a good leader who is able to deal with all such team work issues. 6.2. Here are some additional team eork and team building ideas, techniques, and tips you can try when managing teams in your situation. Make sure that the team goals are totally clear and completely understood and accepted by each team member. Make sure there is complete clarity in who is responsible for what and avoid overlapping authority. For example, if there is a risk that two team members will be competing for control in certain area, try to divide that area into two distinct parts and give each more complete control in one of those parts, according to those individuals strengths and personal inclinations. Build trust with your team members by spending one-on-one time in an atmosphere of honesty and openness. Be loyal to your employees, if you expect the same. Allow your office team members build trust and openness between each other in team building activities and events. Give them some opportunities of extra social time with each other in an atmosphere that encourages open communication. For example in a group lunch on Friday. Though be careful with those corporate team building activities or events in which socializing competes too much with someones family time. For issues that rely heavily on the team consensus and commitment, try to involve the whole team in the decision making process. For example, via group goal setting or group sessions with collective discussions of possible decision options or solution ideas. What you want to achieve here is that each team member feels his or her ownership in the final decision, solution, or idea. And the more he or she feels this way, the more likely he or she is to agree with and commit to the deci
