Greetings.2. Read the article on Page 38 again.Step 2: Activity 3a (7mins)Make notes about an event you remember well. Talk about : 1. What was the event? When did it happen? 2. Where did it happen? What were you doing? 3. What were your friends doing? Why was it important? 4. Why do you remember this event? Step 3: Activity 3b (15mins) Write a short article about the important event in 3a. Try to write three paragraphs. First, write about the event (when and where it happened) Next, write about what you and some of your friends were doing when this event happened. Then, write about why this event was important. Step 4: finish self-check. (10mins)1. Do the self-check on Page 40.2. Check the answers.3. Summarize the main grammars in this unit by doing the task.Step 5: Exercises (10mins)【探究归纳】知识点 1. She speaks Japanese as well. 她也说日语。辨析:as well 与 as well asas well“也,还”,做副词e.g. He is a a singer, and an actor _ _. 他既是歌手,也是演员。as well as“既又,不仅.而且”,作并列连词。e.g. She grows flowers as well as vegetables. 她既种菜也种花。单元话题写作:(一)、话题概述:本单元以“谈论过去正在发生的事”为话题,主要讲述大事件发生时,人们正在进行的各种活动。对过去的事情进行描述,属于叙事记叙文,写作时勿漏五要素,即时间、地点、人物、事件和结果;写作时为了生动和逼真,我们要正确使用进行时。 (二)、教材中出现的有用句型有:When you called, I was having a shower.I called at seven and you didnt pick up.I was sleeping at that time.When the event happened, I was.This was a day Kate Smith will never forget.She remembered working in her office near the two towers.
