I gave it away.2.Ability Objects1.Train the students writing, speaking and listening skills with the target language2.Train the students to use the new phrasal verbs3. Moral Object Come up with good ideas to help others and the world will be more beautiful. It will bring you much enjoyment教学重点1. The vocabulary words. 2. .Listening practice.3. Retell the story of Jimmy.教学难点1. Retell the story of Jimmy.2. Write a letter to Hope Project.2、 教学方法:1) .“Task-based” teaching method 2). Communicative teaching method 3). The situational teaching method4).Listening method and speaking method四、教具准备:The computer;PPT.五、教学过程:Step1. Lead in T: Do you like the TV show WHERE ARE WE GOING ,DAD?Yes ,I like it very much ,the kids in the show are always given some tasks to finish. It is very educational .Where did they go this time?Can believe it ?They came to Awati -a poor village in Xinjiang last month. Also the village head gave four lovely kids some tasks to finish.Let s look at what they are.参备建议Step 2 Finish the first task - learn the new words 1.T:Lets look at the first task about Cindy .What can she do to help others?.The poor children has some problems with the new words. Cindy wants to help them. Lets join her.2.Tell a story about Ali and learn the new words. 3. Ask the students to finish off 1a on page 13 ,then check the answers with the Ss.Step 3 Finish the second task -listening1. T:Do you want to know another clever boy-Kimi,Kimi will help children finish the listening,Lets join her.2.Listen for the first time and number the pictures1-4 in the correct order.then check the answer.3. Listen again and fill in the blanks about Jimmys story.4.Retell the story according to the key words and pictures. Step 4. Finish the third task -think of solutions to help poor people.1.T: Tiantian also came to the village of Awati ,He found that the children there had lots of trouble.Now let s look at the video he made carefully and try to find out the solutions to help them.T: This time I will divide you into two groups,let s have a PK to see which group can think of more ideas.2. Play the video for them and then start to play the games.3. The winner group each gets 1 red heart .Step 5 Finish the fourth task -Write a letter to Voluteer Project1. T:All of you have sharp eyes and clever brains ,you gave the wonderful solutions.Now according to the solutions you came up with,write a letter to Volunteer Project for Shitou. The group who think up the best ideas will get help fund. 2. Discuss in groups and write down their letters.3. Ask several groups to share their letter ,then put them up on the blackboard.4. Correct the letter and say: the students who all have a warm heart all can get the help fund!5. Have an emotional education Say : “No matter how little the power is, its still a kind of support! “and educate the students to help others more.Step 5. Summary Now lets look at our harvest.This class, we mainly talk about Timmy s storyAnd we have learned these phrases and sentences.Try to remember them after class.Home
