Show some situation in English, ask students to finish the exercise to review the phrases that we learned last period.2.Ask students to make sentences with phrases, at the same time, lead students to use the drillsA: Could you please.? B: Yes, sure./ All right./No problem./Certainly.Sorry, I cant. I have to do .Sorry, I cant. I am doing .Step2. Lead inShow some questions on the screen1. Who do the most chores at home ?2. How do you feel when you see her doing chores? 3. Do you like doing chores at home? Why ?4. If no one does chores at home, what will your house be like?What will you do ?Discuss these questions with students to lead to the reading that we are going to learn.Step 3. Reading1.Read the passage in 3a silently and as quickly as you can to catch the main meaning. Answer the following questions: 1.Who do you think do the most housework at Nancys home? 2.What did Nancy do when she got home?3. Why was Nancys mom angry with her?4. Did they solve the problem? How?Ask students to answer these questions. Then explain some language points that students dont understand. At last ,check the answer together.Step4.phrases:1. Show some phrases on the screen. Ask students to read the passage again, try to understand these phrases.2. Play the tape ,students listen and find these phrases in the passage.3. Ask students to translate these phrases, check the answertogether.4. Ask some students to make sentences with phrases.Step 5. Key drills:1. Show some key sentences on the screen. Ask students to understand them, ask them to say their meanings first. Then teacher explain them again. Make sure students understand the key points and can use them freely. 2. Give students some exercise to check if they understand the key drills. If necessary, teacher explain again.Step 6.Practice:1. ask students to do the exercise of 3b,then check the answer together.2.
