Teaching Goals通过课堂教学,使学生掌握课文重点单词、短语和句型。能利用所学的语言知识点进行情景对话;引导学生熟练使用目标语言谈论某些规章制度;能使用目标语言讨论家庭及一些公共场合所需要遵守的规则。1认知目标: 重点词汇:rule, in classroom, hallway, dining ,arrive late, listen, , fight, sorry,重点句型:Dont eat in class!Can we listen to the music? No, we cant.We cant arrive late for school.语言结构: 祈使句; 情态动词 can 表示许可的用法。2能力目标: 培养语言运用能力,让学生把所学到的语言知识和生活实际联系起来,使学习过程生活化。 培养用英语思维的能力和创新意识。 学会不断发现问题和分析问题,并用自己已有的知识水平和生活经历来解决实际问题。3情感态度目标: 通过小组对话、讨论和调查等一系列的活动,培养学生的合作意识。 通过堂上学生之间的交流,让学生了解不同场合的规章制度,培养遵守规则的好习惯。 促进学生养成良好的行为习惯和在良好的道德品质。II. Teaching ProceduresStep One:Lead-in1. Show the students a DV and the pictures revise by asking questions.T: Look at this boy. What does he do? Ss: Hes running T: Can we run in the hallway? Ss: No, we cant.T: Do you remember what the student on duty said to him? Ss: he say :“Dont run in the hallway.”2. Point out the other students in the pictures. So what should we say to them?Dont arrive late for class.Dont run in the hallways.Dont listen to music in the classroom.Dont fight.Step Two: Guessing game1. Let Ss choose the lucky number, and then show the pictures to let them say out:“What should you say to him/her?”2. Match the sentences with the pictures and check the answers(1a) Step Three:Listening(1b)1. Point t o the picture in activity 1a. Asking students to tell what they are doing.( They are breaking school rules.)2. Listen to the audio, ask the students to put a checkmark next to the activities they are talking about.3. Listen again. Students listen and circle the answers.Step Four: Practice (1c)1. Let Ss read the dialogue three times, and then try to recite it 2. Make demonstrationT:Im your new teacher, right?Ss:Yes.T: Im new here today, so I dont know your school rules, Can you tell me what rules are in our class?(板书),Ss:Dont eat in the class.T: Can we run in the class?Ss: No, we cant T: Thats right!We cant run in the hallway, we can run on the playground, right?(板书)3. Use the rules, make the conversations between Ss.Step Five:Listening(2b-2b)1. Point t o the pictures in activity 2a. Asking students to tell what they are doing.( Talking school rules.)2. Listen to the audio, ask Ss to put a checkmark next to the activities they are talking about.3. Listen again. Point out the list of “can and cant” in the chart in activity 2a. Ss listen and circle the answers.Step Six: Practice (2c)Make conversations to the pictures about breaking the school rules and let Ss practice as following:S1: Can we listen to the music in the class?S2: No, we cant, but we can listen to the music in the music room.S3: Can we wear a hat?S4: No, we cant do that in the class. Step Seven: Grammar1. To learn and master Imperativesentence (Dont eat in class! Can we listen to the music? We cant arrive late for school.), use the pictures to show the exampleWalk Dont walk. Run Dont run2. To teach the point of Imperative Sentence Step Eight: Summary1. Summary the school rules.2. How to talk about the rulesStep Nine: Exercise Do some exercises on Printed Ex paper to learn and master the key and difficult points, and the key structures.Step Ten:Make a survey(after class).Make a list of family rules and give students a form like th
