Lets see the pandas first. 2. A:Why do you want to see ? B:Because三.Protecting the animals (情感教育) 通过学习了解动物,增强爱护动物的意识。教学重点:1. Master the key words and sentences.2. Learn to describe the animals,express preferences and give reasons,3. Learn the use of wh-questions.教学难点:1.Learn the use of wh-questions.2.develop students listening and speaking skills.教学过程:Step 1 Leading in1. Watch a video of Kung Fu panda.( Leading in by asking questions about the zoo.)T:Do you often visit the zoos on holiday or weekends ?Ss: Yes, we do.T:OK. Do you like animals ? What are they ? Can you say some words of animals?Ss: .Step 2 Presentation1.Teach the new words about animals by the pictures: tiger, panda, .And say any other words about animals .1.using some adj. to describe the different animals. For example:Its a panda. Its shy, lazy, but its cute and fun .Design Purpose: Have the students learn the key vocabulary .Step 3 Matching (1a)1.Match the words on the left with the animals in the picture .2.Read the new words again .Step 4 Listening (1b)1.Before listening, let the students read the new words again.2.Listen to the tape, check the animals they hear in 1a .3.Listen to the tape a second time, answer the following questions:Conversation 1: What are the girls favorite animals ? Why ?(Pandas. Cute.)Conversation 2: Does the boy like giraffes ? Why ? (Yes. Beautiful.)Conversation 3: What does the girl think of koalas ? (Interesting .)4.According to the conversations, fill in the blanks. Then read them.Step 5 Practice (1c) (Group-work)1. Read the words and conversations in 1a and 1c .2.Ask the students to make conversations in groups. As the following:S1: Lets see the koalas first.S2: Why do you want to see the koalas ?S1: Because theyre interesting .S3: I dont like koalas. I like pandas. Lets see them first.3. Have the students act out their conversations .Step 6 Summary1.In this class, we have learned some new words of animals and describing animals. We have also learned the usage of “why”question.学习了-许多动物的单词,eg:panda,lion, tiger, koala等。学习了描述性的形容词, eg:cute,beautiful,smart等。学习了 let sb do sth.让某人做某事(扩展:let sb not do sth 让某人不做某事)学习了why的特殊疑问句及because作答。通过学习,让学生明白动物濒临绝种,我们要爱护动物,并采取实际行动保护它们。Step 7 Exercise一,根据句意及所给汉语提示,写出句中所缺单词。1.
