I was studying in the library when the rainstorm came? I was talking to my mom when the rainstorm came? I was walking home from school when the rainstorm came?2) 了解,掌握过去进行时的用法。2. 情感态度价值观目标:谈论暴风雨来临时候你在做什么,了解日常生活自然现象,在英语学习中,培养合作学习习惯 。三、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 过去进行时的用法2. 教学难点:What were you doing when the rainstorm came?三、教学过程Step 1 Lead in The teacher points at a student in the classroom and has a conversation with him.T: Where are you?S1: I am in the classroom.T: What are you doing?S1: I am answering your questions.The teacher writes“What are you doing?”on the blackboard and asks in Chinese:这是什么时态?引导学生回答,复习现在进行时态的意义及结构。再问这位学生:“What were you doing when I came in?”,引入过去进行时态,板书课题,引出本节课的教学任务。环节说明:以旧带新,由学过的现在进行时态引出过去进行时态,易于学生理解,降低学习难度,便于引起学生的学习兴趣。Step2. PresentationListen and learn: What were you doing when the rainstorm came?I was studying in the library when the rainstorm came?I was talking to my mom when the rainstorm came? I was walking home from school when the rainstorm came?Step3. A guessing game :What was he doing when the rainstorm came?根据课件提供的图片猜一猜:What was he doing when the rainstorm came?He was studying in the library when the rainstorm came?He was talking to my mom when the rainstorm came? He was walking home from school when the rainstorm came?Step4. Practice1. Where were the people at the time of the rainstorm? Match the statements with the people in the picture.2. Listening: What were they doing when the rainstorm came? Pay attention to “was/were +doing”.3. Speaking: Look at the pictures and answer the questions by using “was/were + doing”.4. Pair work :Talk about what the people in 1a were doing at the time of the rainstorm. (引导学生展开Pair work活动,完成lc部分口语交际的教学任务,学会运用What were you doing when the rainstorm came?询问和表达能力。) 5. Listening . Work on 2a; T: Now, look at the pictures on P2, listen to the four conversations. Just listen. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully.)Then, listen to the recording again, and circle the clubs you hear. Check the answers with the class. . Work on 2b; 引导学生根据对话内容用正确的单词填空,补全对话,再播放听力材料一遍。让学生进行校对,练习听力和写作能力,完成2b部分的教学任务。 Check the answers with the Ss. Step4 Pair work 1.
