Section A(1a1c)教学设计栏杆初中 杨秀兰一、教材分析本节课的中心话题是谈论天气,主要的语言功能项目是运用Hows the weather?及描述天气情况的形容词来谈论不同城市的天气状况。课文内容以全球五个颇具代表性的城市呈现,与现实生活息息相关,便于学生对学习资料的收集,有利于培养学生自主学习的能力,更好的体现了新课程理念。教学重点是how引导的询问天气的特殊疑问句-How is the weather in ? -Its .,描述天气状况的形容词raining/rainy windy cloudy sunny snowing/snowy。难点是正确熟练地运用目标语言描述天气,作天气预报的汇报。二、教学目标1.知识目标 1)单词raining/rainy windy cloudy sunny snowing/snowy2)句型-How is the weather in ?/Whats the weather like ?-Its .2.能力目标(1)训练和培养学生灵活运用所学语言来进行交际的能力(2)训练学生用所学语言来解决实际问题的能力,培养他们的听、说能力以及综合运用知识进行口语表达的能力。3、情感目标(1)了解天气在人们日常生活中的地位。(2)鼓励学生关心与之关系密切的天气状况,以及现实生活中气候的恶劣变化,让学生意识到人类保护环境与自然的重要性,只有人与自然和谐相处,才会有美好的地球。三、教学重点和难点教学重点:1描述天气状况的形容词raining/rainy windy cloudy sunny snowing/snowy。2how引导的询问天气的特殊疑问句-How is the weather in ? -Its .教学难点:正确熟练地运用目标语言描述天气,作天气预报的汇报。四、教学方法 1布置学生课前预习,收看收听英语天气预报节目,为新课的学习做好准备。 2制作课件,利用多媒体进行教学,展示真实的语言情境。3采用任务型教学模式,配合多媒体教学。改变知识呈现方式,用图片展示语境,使学生融入真实的情景;改变学生的学习方式,让学生自主上网收集有关资料,对知识进行拓展、运用和学习。五、教学过程Step1 Warming-up and Lead-in Let students listen to music about weather forecast. After listening, make them try to guess what topic they will talk about. Lead to the new topic -weather.Step2 Presentation 1. Show some weather signs to teach the new words weather: sunny, windy, rainy/raining, cloudy and snowy/snowing.e.g.T: Do you know their meanings? (Point to the weather signs)S: Yes. T: Hows the weather? S: Its sunny. (Help Ss answer) etc.2. Teach the students to read the words twice.Step3 Practice1. A Charade. The teacher prepares for some cards with the words about weather. Invite some students to choose one of the cards and act it out according to the word. At the same time, other students try to guess the word. They can guess by saying “ Is it _? ”e.g.T: Hows the weather? Please guess!( One student is performing in front.)S1:Is it windy?S2: Is it rainy?S3.2. Let Ss chant and do as the teacher does. Show some pictures about the weather quickly .When the picture disappears, the teacher asks: Hows the weather? Then let students answer. See who has the best memory.4. Go on showing some pictures about weather and ask: We know some words about weather now. But when you want to know the weather of someplace, what should you ask? One or two minutes later, invite some pairs to share their conversations with the class.2. Make a weather report. Show two maps of China and let Ss make a report.Step 6 Emotion education1. Introduce some disastrous weather. And let them know that weather isnt always pleasant and its changing worse.2.
