It takes .minutes. 3、how引导的特殊疑问句,表示乘坐何种交通工具的方式。how far, how long 引导的特殊疑问句。4、复习基数词及时间的表示方法。 方法过程1、通过听、说等一系列活动培养学生良好的听力习惯与口语交际能力。2、通过模仿交流看、小组合作学习等形式,学习运用句型谈论出行方式、距离与花费时间。 情感态度 价值观让学生感受到他们学习英语是为了在现实生活中进行交流,而不单纯是为了英语课和应付考试而学习,了解东西方国家出行方式的不同,以及不同的交通规则,教育学生注意交通安全, 加深对交通知识的了解。教学方法以情景教学和任务型教学相结合的方法,给学生创造足够的听说读机会,让学生在交际中学英语,达到学以致用。课时安排1课时教学重难点预设教学重点 1、how /how far /how long 引导的特殊疑问句。.2、乘坐交通工具的表示方法.3、 It takes / sb some time to do sth .教学难点熟练运用目标语言进行交际。 自主预习 绩优学案预习导学中的词汇速记和句型目标。探究分享 Step 1 Revision 1. Check the prevision part. 2. Review the phrases and structures in last period.A: How do you get to school?B: I ride my bike to school.How about you?A: I_ to school.Ask some pairs to act out the conversations in class. 3. Go on asking in the new structure. A: How does Mary get to school?B: She takes the subway to school./ She goes to school by subway.Practice more with students. Step 2 Listening practice (2a) Students listen and repeat. Then write the correct number next to the words in 2a. 2. Ask students to read the numbers correctly. Step 3 Presentation 1. Tell students: Its about 4 kilometers from my home to school. So I often walk to school. It usually takes me 12 minutes to get to school. Now How do I get to school, class? Ss: You walk to school. T: How far is it from my home to school? Ss: Its about 4 kilometers. T: How long does it take me to get to school. Ss: It takes you 12 minutes to school.(帮助学生回答并板书句型) 2. Then show a picture on the screen and explain these are your home and school. Teach: home-school How long - 10 minutes How far - two kilometers Then make up a dialogue to practice the new structure above. Step 4 Pairwork Students work in pairs and make conversations with the structures. A: How do you get to school? B: I usually take the bus/ . A: How far is it from your home to school? B: Its about . kilometers. A: How long does it take? B: It takes . minutes to school by bus. Allow some pairs to show their conversations in front of the other students. Step 5 Listening (2b, 2c) 1. Tell students the following recording is about how Tom and Jane go to school. 2. First, listen to the recording fill in the first column. 3. Then students listen again and complete the rest of the chart. 4. Check the answers. Step 6 Pairwork (2d) Students work in pairs and talk about the people in the listening part. A: How do you get to school? B: I usually. A: How far is it from. to .? B: Its about . kilometers. A: How long does it take.? B: It takes . . Then show students some pictures and talk about the way, the time to school by following the sentences above. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations in class. Step 5 Role-play (2e) 1. Read the dialogue and fill in the chart.How?How long(minutes)How far(kilometers)JaneLisa 2. Students read the conversations and then find the answers to the questions. Check the answers with the class. 3. Play the recording for the students to listen and repeat. 语言点点拨 The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. (1)take作动词时,意为“花费”,常用句型It takes sb. some time to do sth.,意为“做某事花费某人多长时间”。其中it为形式主语,真正的主语是很后面的动词不定式to do sth.。如: It takes me three hours to finish my work.
