Using a cartoon video to lead in.And then ask Ss if they know the story.T: Do you know whats the name of the story?S1:Its Yu Gong moves a mountain. -write down the titleStep 2 Presentation S2: Its a traditional Chinese story. T:Look at the screen our aim is to tell a story. So I want to ask some questions.You can discuss them with your partner. Lets look at the questions first.ScreenT:How does the story begin? Or Why did Yu Gong want to move the mountains?Ss: Once upon a time, there was a very old man. There were two mountains near his house. They were so big and high that it took a long way to walk to the other side. T:What happened next?Ss:The old man told his family that they should all help him to move the mountains day by day no matter what other people say.Where could they put all the earth and stone from the mountains?Ss: Yu Gong said they could put them into the sea because its big enough to hold everything.T:Lets focus on the questions, we can use these questions to tell any stories.Briefly, when we tell a story we must use six points: when where who begin next and the result.T: Do you know other traditional Chinese stories? S1: Ne Zha Conquers the Dragon KingS2: Magic Brush Ma LianS3: Change Flies to the Moon T: Very good now open your books lets learn some other stories.Step 3 Section A 1A T:Do you know the names of stories? Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Picture 4 Ss: T:Now finish 1a by yourself quickly. Let check your answers.Step 4 Section A 1B 听力部分让学生先预览1b所给的三个句子,由此猜测出即将听到的内容。Step 5 Listening 2a&2b 这个环节,先让学生观察图片,清楚每一幅图所表达的内容,然后在心里有个初步的答案。再结合录音核对答案。录音听一遍不清楚可以来两遍。T check the answers, explain some important points.Step 6 Practice Let a few Ss to retell the story in their own words.T give some necessary help to the Ss.(让学生复述故事,可能有的就照着念,有的会用简洁的语言转述,不管怎样,照着念的同学练习了口语,用自己话转述的同学学会了总结,都不错。)Step 7 Practise 2d First, listen and then girls read ,boys read,together read.Second,show some pictures let Ss try to recite.Step 9 Homework 合作探究Give three questions to each groups and let ss discuss together.Step 8 Summary 新词:journey,move,shoot,repair,stone,weak,remind ,as soon as.一.就.unless,so.that.如此.以至于.新句:How does the story begin?故事怎么开始的?What happened next?接下来发生了什么?Why was Yu Gong trying to move the mountains?(引导学生自己总结,每个词的意义,用法,举例子)Step 9 Homework1、Recite the new words.2、Discuss a story with your partner, write down your conversation on your exercise book.作业安排了背单词和写对话两个任务,这样强化本节课所学的知识
