Let the students make their own conversations according to the pictures with the sentence patterns “Whats he/she doing? He / She is ” (1) A: Whats she doing? B: She is talking on the phone.(2) A: Whats he doing? B: He is reading a book.(3) A: Whats he doing? B: He is using the computer.(4) A: Whats she doing? B: She is doing her homework.(设计说明:创设情境,让学生结合情境进行对话,贴近生活,引导学生在实际运用中感知现在进行时,做到学以致用。)Step II .Pre-listening activities1. PreviewAsk the Ss to translate the following Chinese into English. First ask the Ss to put them into English orally. Then let them write English down without looking at the textbooks.一、核心词汇。1游泳池2.购物;商店 3超市 4.男人;人二、核心词组。5打篮球6读书三、核心句型。7那个男的在河里游泳吗?不,他不在。他在游泳池里游泳(设计说明:本部分词组和句子为学生的预习作业,词组和句子都是本节课的重要语言知识,该部分预习内容可以帮助学生更有目的性的预习。同时通过检测学生的预习效果,教师可以更有针对性地教,学生可以更有针对性的学。)2.
